At least you got a good music track playing. Sorry to hear about your SSD
With great effort, I was able to claim victory!
It seems this game ended up incomplete? I could move around and select actions to perform using the 1,2,3 keys but couldn't figure out how to activate them or if they were doing anything when pressing space.
I hope you come back to this project after the jam and turn it into a more complete game, because it's looking interesting!
I've been trying for a while but the lack of explanation of the game mechanic hurt my experience a lot, but I feel like there's something cool cooking up in there, like the 2nd card 're-wind'/dash me back to a position have a potential for this to be a cool turn-based strategy!
Also, sorry about your SSD card, sometimes things just blow up in the most unfortunate of timing...a shame indeed.
Look forward to development of this one and your future projects!
I have no idea how the game works. Seeing the grid and the cards, I think you have an interesting idea that you were trying to implement, but without an explanation, I couldn't figure out. The explanation can be as simple as putting a few paragraphs into the description of the game.
Couldn't really figure out how the game works, seems like you had a cool concept cooking though. RIP SSD.
Thanks a lot for trying it out lol
Rest in Peace SSD-kun, hopefully you can get something sorted.
Definitely could use a tutorial, the combat doesn't make much sense without it, plus you can view your own HP, so you're just kinda guessing on what to do most of the time.
Hopefully you can come back and polish it up at some point to make a full loop. otherwise a solid starting point that just need more time to cook!
Yeah I really needed more time to cook and polish up on the GUI and control tutorial. Thanks for trying it out though, really appreciate it.
Truthfully I have literally no clue what is happening
Neither did I while developing
An interesting concept what it is a bit hard to understand how the combat works. Having some instructions in the description would be great.
Yes, I planned for those but got caught up in work lol, definitely gonna get back and implement it the next time I’m free
