Game Description
You wake up blind in an abandoned hospital. The failed operation stole your sight—and now, you're alone. Or so you think. In Perception Lost, you navigate darkness using echolocation: a pulse reveals the unseen world for a moment—walls and enemies. But sound is a risk. The other patients… they hear it. And they've gone feral. Descend floor by floor through this twisted facility. Each level introduces survivors with their own sensory adaptations: deaf hunters, blind sentinels. Have fun ;}

How does your game tie into the theme?
The character is blind. You literally can't see without echolocation using the ping ability

This is one of the best games from this jam I've played so far. Really awesome look and feel, crazy cool artwork, sleek UI, captivating campaign, smooth controls and easy to get into. The echolocation mechanic is creative and visually stunning. Enemies got stuck at times, and player somehow teleported through doors (straight to enemy), but overall really a most impressive entry.

Thank You For playing and the Feedback

yeah that was a lazy job for the doors as did not have that much time for it

Great game! Especially the visual effects are top-class!! I just felt a bit annoyed by having to click my mouse repeatedly to be able to move further - maybe longer echolocation would help? Or an option to use it automatically?

Developer

Thank you For Playing the Game

From play testing we settled on the 2-3 seconds window for the echo
but yeah it needs some improvement

Really enjoyed the suspense atmosphere - sound and artwork work very well. The echo location mechanic definitely stood out. One point to improve would be the controls / accessibility - having to use the mouse just for a button that could have been mapped to the keyboard felt unnecessary. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for ur great regards

We had that in mind for the key bindings to be in settings but the time was tight

The art is great and the music gives me chills... I really like the echolocation but it was quite unsettling. :>

Scary game made me scared, so I couldn't play too much, but good game nonetheless.
