I enjoyed moving the tiles around and smiting farms :D Good job on the tile movement, I thought it was neat and has potential in future games

I was really interested by this game, as a child I loved this type of games. I kinda wished it was more clear how you can actually make them survive, they always starved for me or I ended up being seen for too much help. Great job on the entry, coding all of this must've been tough.

WOW! Awesome game! Very complex system for such a short time!

I had fun interacting with every building and for some reason I found it very satisfying to move the terrain around (I even moved a forest while it had some humans on it lol)

As I was playing, I kept thinking about how hard it must have been to implement all the features, as there was nothing buggy or incomplete with the interactions.

Fantastic job!

I'm impressed by all the work done here! Have you made the graphic assets ? Because on top of the simulation it's rather time consuming so big congrats for that :) I really liked the music and the concept, a nice twist on the god game genre ! However, I fear i missed some of the features, i felts interacting too much with the human made my presence too much seen, so i ended up not doing so much. Maybe some balancing could improve the game play, allowing to reach further into the game without plainly waiting ?

On the whole I feel the core mechanic is here and I enjoyed playing with the various and several options you gave us. It seems everything worked well on my side.

So once agin well done and congrats for your entry :) !

The music was very catchy, I wasn't entirely sure what "rearranging" was supposed to do, but an interesting take on the theme. Nice job.

Overall presentation is really nice. Everything does as described. I liked the concept of not “revealing” yourself to the humans. I can definitely see the work done on the underlying simulation.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t really figure out what I could do to fully interact with the simulation itself. I smited some enemies that spawned in the woods, but otherwise, none of my few powers seemed to really help the humans in any way (maybe… maybe… some rain on the farms, IF the humans built farms).

Most of the time, the humans just seemed to die (I’m guessing from starvation). I could spawn more, but they’d die shortly afterwards too.

If you’re interested, here’s a link to my play of the game!

Very ambitious project for a short jam, impressive how well it works!
In my first game, humans never planted crops for some reason so they'd just die unless I gave them food by miracle. But no issue in my second game.

There was some neat things like being able to smith a shrine to lower faith. Cool project :)

This is a really neat idea. It's clear you've put in a lot of work with all the upgrades and stuff. I wasn't totally sure what my impact on the world was other than making the crops grow. But everything seemed fine without my input. Nice entry regardless.

Cool concept! The font was distorted on my screen which made it a bit hard to read, but I had a good time playing!

I chuckled at imagining a god with a "fatal allergy to religion" haha

I understood the premise but struggled a bit figuring out what exactly I should do (since the goal is to not be detected.) I settled on doing nothing for a while but the humans seemed determined to worship me anyway.

Then I guess everyone died because I didn't water their crops haha

They were evidently praying for your help :)

I tried helping them out... RELIGION

I tried murdering all of them. ...  RELIGION

I left it running with no intervention... RELIGION

I think, what you're trying to say is people need something to believe in, very philosophical.
The art was super charming...

Super cool concept! I love seing my little humans doing their life. Even through I always loose before seeing any level 4 buildings.  I 'd like more explanations about mechanics so I'd have done better

Developer

Glad you liked it! I find the best results come when you limit the humans exploration as their pathfinding is random and they won't seek out buildings to upgrade

Super cool game!! Some buildings occasionally didn't show their sprite (defense) but I guess that's just part of the "unseen" theme :DD

amazing game, though i always started a religion hehe

Nice use of the theme. The font could use some work for playing at smaller sizes. Thanks for adding the full screen option. I had initially checked this out earlier, and some messages were hard to read.

As a fan of populous, black & white, and civ, I was very intrigued by the screenshots you had! I played this game for quite a while. Since there was no ending in sight, I spammed food and ended with a "B" grade. I wish there was a full screen option for the game. Some of the text (particularly the popups that tell when a new feature has been built) were very difficult to read. Overall I thought it was pretty fun!

pretty fun! I somehow started the religion every time XD
