The game is pretty fun! I like the visual effects and art. The concept is fun too! An issue I had was that the power choosing would appear randomly, so I'd accidentally click a card before actually reading. Great job!

Deceptively difficult little rogue. um. lite? like? I'm not interested in discussing the difference. The important point is, the game is fun! I got to around 8 waves, thinking, "This is a breeze!" before getting absolutely combo'd to hell. Very neat.

Had a ton of fun, I took every upgrade that made my sword bigger since it increased range! I swear I was hitting things on the other side of the map LOL

Had a lot of fun, even though the damn bats destroyed me every time. Concept is simple but very effective and nicely executed, well done!

That was really fun! I liked the game a lot, some times grab powers without noticing it 'cause I was spaming the attack tho, a small delay between end of wave and power ups would have been nice.

Submitted

Very cool game, got me hooked enough to play multiple times to try and reach a high wave.

Loved it, the stab is very satisfying and the art is funny and the vampire survivors/halls of torment style of upgrades work very well with the limitation. Would be extra cool with a larger variety of upgrades.

Combat system is awesome and super satisfying, but maybe just some UI that tells you maybe what wave you are on and gives the player a second to consider the options after each wave, otherwise I found myself accidentally clicking powerups right after the wave was over. Liked it a lot, thank you for submitting this!

Very fun to strategize to last longer me personally I like to get a GIANT sword and deal more damage, Great art too good job!

Fun game I gotta say. wish i have something to kill the ghost monster.

Very fun! I had so much enemy knockback I kept bouncing off a bunch of them that i ended up on the other side of the map. Though sometimes I'd end up picking an upgrade I didn't mean to because i was clicking so much.

I love this game but i have to take off points due to plagarism of my ideas. No, but seriously it seems like we both had very similar ideas for the jam with the same name and upgrades with downsides but you went roguelite and i went platformer.

Submitted

Nice work! I had fun dodging many meteors!

Submitted

This was fun, only problem is that I would always choose a random upgrade since I was always spam clicking.

Super fun game :) Feels great to play, the animations are responsive and the sounds are fun. The only thing I found frustrating was I'd skip through the level up choice a bunch cause I was clicking so much during the levels

Thank you. I will try to fix this issue after voting ends.

Died in wave 16 :D, figured high speed and a big sword would help me keep enemies at a distance and it worked pretty well.
Anyway, great entry!
What was your max wave?

Developer

The highest wave I have ever gotten to was around wave 20.

Good use of the limitation, it makes this "classic" concept really fun!

Thank You.

I liked it, very clever use of the limitation. I made it to wave 13, it was fun.

Thank You.
