Looking for a game that was on itch. ( found, called Frozen Soil, anyone know what happened to it?)

There was an rpg that I used to have in my library, I don't remember what it was called but I think it had turn based battles, but instead of having your character in battles you were in a tank and one of your team mates was a giantess, I think there were other giant woman too.  I always meant to play it, but never got around to it, does anyone know what I'm talking about and if it was removed or I accidently deleted it from my library?

It was in the demo stage and wasn't porn, it seemed kinda horny but not porny.

That might have happened. It is an annoying feature of Itch.

The dev also might have deleted the game or made it unavailable. Or the game was removed by Itch.

(If it is still here, and the dev tagged it appropriately, maybe you will find it in here /games/tag-giantess)

I can only assume the dev deleted it since ones that itch took down are still in my library.  The game was uploaded a few years ago and I think it was a year or two since it was last updated.  Really wish I could remember more about it.

That looks the same. You can't tell who removed it. Only that there is a hole in your collection. Took me a while to figure out that most of those are developers that delete their game and make a new page with the same game. But if it was not updated for long, that sounds like some other reason for removal. Though I also saw devs that would remove a prototype and upload a new project with the finished game.

Oh and yeah, I saw malware on Itch that lived for two years. And stolen games for over half a year. /t/3512426/itch-is-not-a-safe-place-do-not-download-things

If you remember last time you visited the page and your browser's history from that time still exists, maybe you can look there for clues.

Thats the thing though, I do still see a couple games that were removed by itch in my collection, but the game I'm looking for is just gone.

Grats on finding it.

There might be several stages of removal, when Itch does it, so they can rollback or whatever. But if it is fully removed (or made unavailable), that looks the same. Hole in collection.

My best guess is, that in this case the dev made the game un-public, since the account seems to be still there.

Its weird that they would remove it, I played a little of it and its got great production and art.  Weird that it would just be pulled since its pretty damn cool.

OH OH OH, I was very good and had downloaded the demo of it.  Its called Frozen Soil.

You can still find it here.

But  it looks like the creator is just gone, his twitter hasn't updated from last year and no sign of a bluesky account.

i somehow still have the demo of it too, but i dont know how or where to send it if people are interested in playing it.

You could upload it to google drive and share it that way or via any other cloud service.

did a while of searching, and found the demo through one of my USB drives. ngl, where would be the best place to share the game? i doubt itch is the best site

If you don't want to use any space on google drive, you could just use MEGA, wich is a file hosting place with a free option that goes up to 20 gigs
