This is a pretty neat idea, I like the tense music. Having this system of changing between walking/attacking/light drop with buttons, it might have been cool to have those buttons attached to keys. Also, when I killed both ghosts in level two I couldn't move or do any actions anymore. Congrats on finishing.

Extremely challenging! I was happy to see the game assets used by one of the most talented artists on Itch. Immunity, but I didn't see them listed in the credits. It wouldn't hurt to add a note to the itch game page to reflect this omission.

The music, art, and environment are pretty cool. The first few moments before you bump into the monster are pretty tense. I also ran into the problem of controls not working. Also, the encounter seems pretty unforgiving. I managed to finish the first level, but I tried the second level many times and never managed to take more than one step. As a matter of fact in many occasions the monsters got to me even before I made my first move. Also, I never actually managed to get the stick to work. I think that the best part of the game is before you actually see the monster in the first place, so probably this game would have benefited from having much bigger levels.

Nice idea, and nice music.

At some point, seems controls stopped working...

I ran into that occasionally, I believe it happens when you move before an animation is done.  Sadly ran out of time to fix it
