Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
I remember learning about the symbolism of rain pertaining to human kindness some years ago. It stuck out in my mind because rain is not something one might immediately regard as such a wonderful thing, especially if one gets caught in it unexpectedly.
So I began thinking about rain as a kindness, and the parts of life that immediately benefit. So I got the image of rain helping trees to grow, at first I thought about the colored balls being taken by the roots of trees and expressed as fruits. Later it made more sense for the plants to be flowers which could directly reflect chosen colors.
I made creative decisions around making raining something the cloud does intentionally, so as to make it something generous. This is accentuated by the fact that the act of giving of oneself comes with the danger of giving too much.
The flowers also help the Earth by relieving it of internal pressures in a way much more pleasant than the volcanoes that would occur naturally otherwise. These things add to the generosity of the cloud who struggles to rain more helpfully, rather than just keep its balance by offloading rain anywhere.
So, the more generous you are, the higher the score.

This is a unique entry, I dig the concept of tying rain into generosity. As some others have stated, I think having a tutorial at the start of the game would be nice, it took me a long while to really understand how to play the game. Similarly, I wasn't able to play for too long due to the spinning screen triggering my motion sickness. I think it can work, you'd just need to find a middle ground for it. Overall, nice work!
Had a tough time getting the hang of it at first, but I was able to figure out how to play after a while. I like the idea of a game centered around rain as kindness. Unfortunately I wasn't able to play for long due to motion sickness from the spinning, but I can see how this could turn into a fun arcade game!
Thanks for playing!
An interesting idea, however the spinning mechanic may cause intense issues to those with motion sensitivities.
Thanks for the heads up! If I develop this game further I'll add an option to remove the background graphics
Tried to play this one, but I suffer from intense motion sickness and the second the entire screen started rotating, I had to turn it off. The design looked pretty cool from what I saw and the art was very interesting!
Oh no! I am sorry to hear that. It was originally much faster, but I had to slow it way down because it could make one a little nauseous after the sky art was added! Perhaps having the stars and clouds fixed and using some kind of masking for day and night instead would be better.
but come to think of it that wouldn't actually change anything for when the cloud went around the Earth. We would need to add an option to turn off background art altogether. I will add it if I develop this any further!
Haha yeah I think that's on me. Still a gorgeous looking game!
Fun game with cute sound effects, I would love a tutorial for controls and objective to make it more intuitive. Love the concept and the ability to give too much, great job!
Thank you :)
It really looks like a tutorial is needed!
I love the sound effects and the music! It makes the feedback feel really nice :) Very creative concept for the jam!
Thank you :)
Takes quite a bit of reading to understand the objective and controls. Agree with the previous comments that adding an interactive tutorial would be key for a game like this. Would love to see a gameplay vid, my challenge to the dev!
Such a cool puzzle game, enjoy reading your journey on the creative decisions. Keep up the good work! :)
Thanks Sarina :)
I'll have to see if I can add a video without it disqualifying me!
It's a good game once I got the hang of it. I didn't understand at first that you're supposed to rain on the colored balls or that you go super-speed when you get six raindrops from the water. Fun game and creative vision nonetheless. Here's my score.
Nice! Thanks :)
You are currently the Vrishti World Champion!
I love the gameplay design—both the mechanics and art style feel really unique! I’m excited to see what the next version of the game brings. If you're open to feedback, I’d suggest making the game a bit more intuitive, as I found it a little hard to understand at first. Still, great job overall!

Thanks! What kinds of things would make it more intuitive to you?
Good score by the way! Looks like you beat Akusan and are in #1 :)
At first, it wasn’t entirely clear what the main objective of the game was. This initial uncertainty could potentially be reduced with one of the following approaches:
Mini Tutorial + Guided Start: Introduce a short pop-up tutorial and place a seed that’s ready to be watered—matching the selected color—right as the game begins. This will naturally guide players into the core mechanic without relying on trial and error.
-OR-
Visual Indicators: Alternatively, adding a prompt or visual cue (such as an animation, highlight, or icon) to show when a seed is ready to be watered could help players intuitively understand what to do next. I’ve included an image example for reference.
Here's a little insight: Players often rely on intuitive cues based on familiar gameplay patterns. If your game introduces a unique mechanic or diverges from common gameplay conventions, it’s especially important to clearly explain the basics up front—even a small visual hint or interactive tip can make a big difference.
But I must say, after understanding the basic, your game is FUN to play, haha :D
Thank you, I'm really glad you liked it and appreciate taking the time for the feedback!
You're welcome! Feel free to check out mine xD
I like the artstyle it kinda reminds me of tarot cards! It is quite unique gameplay! Very original :)
Love this art style!! The collage vibe really resonates with me! It's also mechanically very fun and experimental gameplay experience! Good job!!!
The game is pretty creative. I've never played a game like that before. The music is pretty adorable and fits the cloud and nature theme. The first few rounds was tricky, but I got to a score of 18,000. Thanks for sharing your game!
Love the symbolism and the backgrounds you used. The music is catchy too! Nice job with this.
