I like the story you have so far. I would have really like to see a bit more concept/inspiration art.  I can't look at your document and know the art style that you are going for. I also am not sure from your document what you natural and unnatural disasters are. I think the unnatural is either AI or a lack on environmental education.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your prototype.

Hello TheImmuneCkay,

Glad to hear you enjoyed the story direction! We put lots of effort into everything. For more concept/inspiration art, I encourage you to check out our game page full of more conceptualization. We weren't able to fit a moodboard onto the required one-page game document, so we stuck to the essentials and filled in from there + linked sources. To clarify about the disasters, there are actually several Natural and UnNatural Disasters, but we showcased sinking cities and generative AI on the doc. The labels for such can be found below the image.

If there is a way we can better communicate this in the future, I'd love to hear any potential suggestions you have! Thank you for checking out Orbyter, and we hope to impress you with our prototype :)) -Rotogi

I love what you have so far in regards to your game. Orbyter looks like a cute and lovable protagonist, and I love the approach your going for with the story. The idea of spreading awareness of climate change and environmental issues through education is something I can get behind. I agree that there should be more easier information available to teach people what they can do to help fight climate change. I'm curious about the choices the player can make. What are some examples of these choices and can we see the impact of those choices in the game? Either way, I look forward to playing your game.

Hello William,

Thank you for taking the time to write this warm comment! I'm glad we were able to communicate Orbyter's character well, and we're excited to show even more of their lovable charm in the game. To answer your question about the choices, the player will have the option to backtrack and spend extra time revitalizing the world before reaching the ending. This may include putting out fires, pumping water into the ground, etc. Completion goals will be real-life solutions based in science to inform players of the ways they can help. The ending will change depending on the choices players make.

We hope to see you for Orbyter's launch! Thank you :)) -Rotogi
