STELLAR visual style, fantastic music, great twist. Simple little horror game with an incredibly polished atmosphere.
Great game! The horror atmosphere is great Nice concept, great art, good music/SFX. My only complaint is that the whole area is a bit dark, I can barely see, adding a flashlight would probably be a good choice. Excellent work!

Nice game with some amazing sprites. Maybe you could add a way pointer towards the next level, I did not really know where to go at first(Only saw the maps after playing through the game). As I already said, these sprites look amazing I only have one visual critic-point and that is the tiles not always having filled out gaps, I sometimes saw blue stripes all over the tile-map which kind of broke the immersion. Great game and concept all in all!
Blue stripes is very interesting, I haven't seen that bug yet. As for the pointer, I thought about it, but we were kinda stressed for time, and I didn't wanna break the immersion. That's why I added the maps in the hints section of the itch page :)
Oh yeah I saw the blue strips too, it's pretty subtle though.
I think the first section of the game where you collect 10 chicks drags on for (way) too long, but apart from that i think you scoped this project really well, you had a completed game without any obvious sacrifices during development being made , i give you massive props for that!
You don't have to get all the chicks, its kinda a sidequest :)
The art-style is so good. Limitation is original and sad at the same time.Overall you did good job!!

I know you guys claim the chicks getting stuck on objects as a bug, but honestly it really adds character to how helpless the chicks really are!
Overall I like the concept, and the darkness kept me on my feet throughout the whole game. I also thought the beast was going to be much bigger, I was imagining a big wolf that would run down the cornfields of the maze trying to chase you.

I really enjoyed playing this! The art for the main character and the chickens are so cute! The levels are nice, but the tile maps and locations where wall collisions are placed are not perfect. Very great!

Didn't encounter and "Seekers" the art was good but could have been better with the tilemap, some of the art looked like it cut off or did go smoothly with other assets. Most of the reason i stayed is the music, it is great. I didnt get too far in tho But the chicken walk animation was great especially when it was in time with the music. Me and my army of chicken marching down.
Yeah, we had a corruption halfway through that took up around 3-4 hours to fix, so it was rushed!
