  • Interesting idea, well executed except that the text was too hard to read. Also, more variation in the look of different forms and the names, dates and IDs would have made it more interesting. Think of accessibility tools for those with reading difficulties
  • "Brilliant interpretation of the feedback loop theme - the way your incident responses create new rules that complicate future forms is genuinely clever game design. You've captured that Papers Please DNA of bureaucratic pressure and rule complexity, but with your own unique twist of self-generating bureaucracy. For a solo jam entry, this shows impressive scope management and thematic coherence. If you're considering expanding this into a full release, I'd suggest focusing on gradual tutorialization to ease players into the complexity, expanding the narrative world-building around the office environment, and improving UI accessibility with larger fonts and better navigation. It would be fascinating to see how you could develop the absurdist bureaucratic escalation into a longer experience while maintaining that clever feedback loop core. This is an interesting and ambitious concept. It was hard to keep track of new rules, though. Perhaps having them read out would help. Audio, in general, is an area that could be improved. The introduction has a click (bad edit) at both the start and end of every individual sound effect, and these were also panned hard left. Another key improvement to make would be to tell the player what they did wrong upon failing. This would help making retrying the challenge more appealing, and gives players direction in how to improve. Very good game concept for a solo developer, there is potential for expansion. A more clear and visual set of instructions would have elevated this immediately. I was surprised to see a lack of basic randomisation of character names, DoB and IDs. I suggest implementing a VERY lenient difficulty curve in games of this kind, to avoid people disengaging rapidly and missing out on what the game has to offer."

Aesthetic nice Game, The background music sets the mood perfectly, and the intro was stylish and well-done (though just a tiny bit long—but I understand it’s part of the setup). The UI fits the theme really well—clean and functional. I was thinking maybe adding a paper-like texture to the form backgrounds could enhance the immersion even more, but honestly, the minimalist style works nicely too.

The way feedback loops are used in the game is clever and keeps things interesting as the complexity increases. I also feel like this could be used as a fun way to train skills like typing speed, quick decision-making, and pattern recognition.

Great concept and execution overall—awesome work!

Great game! I like the scaling difficulty as more rules are added in, very nice!

thanks for your feed back, happy you liked it :D

I really like the idea of this game, the difficulty of quickly parsing information while following a set of rules isn't often seen and this implementation of it works well. Picking what rules you'll have to follow later is clever, and everything is layed out in a good way. Great entry!

Thanks a lot !

I think the game fits the theme well! I like the art and background music. I also enjoyed the puzzle element.

I found the font size a bit too small. There was also a lot of information to take note. I think increasing the font size and finding a way to shorten the sentences (at the right panel) can help players read and to clear forms faster.

thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you liked it
yes maybe you're right for the font size and the make the rules shorter on the right panel

I like the concept and think the expanding rule list is a cool idea! It does feel a  little overwhelming though with the amount of information that needs to be considered.

Developer

thank you! Yes it was the point, to have a lot of informations so it becomes more and more difficult

Definitely requires quite a bit of speed to play, but very fun! Love the aesthetic/atmosphere it has!
