So this is originally my university project that me and couple of my classmates made in a month, and I decided to publish it because I think it turned out to be quite neat.

Island of Glowing Maple is a vertical danmaku shooter, primarily inspired by Touhou. The game is set in a world where magic and spirits exist, and all sorts of whimsical and yet beautiful events happen. You play as Vasyl’, a wildcat… despite being a wildcat he lives in a village and has home. Strange events started to happen in his village, and his senses lead him to the island in the river near the village, due to the local giant maple tree starting to glow, which, as beautiful as it is, was weird.

The game is really short and just has two levels, so it shouldn’t take much time to complete. Well, if we drop the fact that it’s a bullet hell game.
