The fit on this is excellent. I've been spoiled a lot by these entries, so there are a few places I can see room for improvement. I couple moments in the shimmer/ sleigh bells sounded out of place, a swell that didn't go as big as it could... a place where an instrument came in loud instead of starting quieter and ramping up. A bit at the end where it felt you were rushing the ending... Just tiny, tiny things.. Overall really very good.

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! Yeah, there were definitely some moments dynamically that I wish I could've had time to fix, and I'll likely go back after the jam to make some tweaks so that there are bigger contrast between the highs and lows throughout the piece. As far as the ending goes, I would've loved to extend it a bit and let it breathe a little bit longer, but the 2 minute time limit for jam submissions prevented me from doing so haha. I figured I could either cut that harp outro entirely, or just start it a little bit earlier and not have a big ritardando at the very end. I liked the harp outro, so I opted for the latter option haha. But that's another detail that I'd love to stretch out a bit when I revisit this piece after the jam ends! Thanks again for listening!
Thanks so much for the incredibly kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that this was the vibe that you envisioned as you were creating your piece, your vision for the piece seemed super clear when I first saw it and started writing music for it! Thank you for creating this beautiful artwork, it was really easy to be musically inspired by it!
A top entry, really great stuff! Fits the artwork well and develops in a really satisfying way. One small suggestion would be to shape those melodies even more (my advice is if you've think you've done a bit too much on that, then that's the right amount), but other than that this is a great piece!
Thank you for the great feedback! Yeah, I would've liked to shape the melody some more with more ornamentations and whatnot. However, I was worried that making the melody more complex might overcomplicate what I felt should be a fairly simple melody to convey the timeless story of a tragic romance, so I opted to keep it fairly simple (plus I also started running out of time to mess around with the melody some more haha). I'd love to toy around with the main theme and see if I can find some nice ways to add more color without losing the original intent of the theme! Thanks so much again for listening, I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm really glad to hear that the vision that I had came through in the music. The prologue observation is spot on! I was very much imagining this piece being featured as a prologue to a game or film that would be setting the stage for the events to come in the story. Thanks again for listening!
