This is super VGM style and I love that. The melody of the horn at 0:15 was very nice, and I would have liked to hear more on that, but still a really good submission once again.
this is such a dramatic and exciting take on the piece : )
I think I followed this pretty well, you were thinking of the first panel as a rescue scenario?.. Any way, the soundscape is fascinating, for me it reminds me a bit of Megaman game music. I'm all inspired to delve into 80s synth sounds. Love this.
I felt like it was a different fit than the prompt, but other than that I enjoyed it! Nice production and arrangement! Could definitely see it in a game!
Oops sorry! i sent it three times on accident.
No worries, I think everyone who uses itch does that at some point. :P
It was very creative to make it more energetic, however i didn't think the horn that comes in at 00:15 completely matched the theme. Overall a very good piece, i enjoyed listening to it.

The composition was done well! Some parts felt 'horror-esque' enough to portray the tragedy of the story itself, although the ending felt a little too upbeat
I hear what you're saying about the ending, however given the butterfly motiff in the stain glass and the butterflies fluttering around in the center, I interpreted the scene as suggesting the lovers' spirits are living on as butterflies hence the more hopeful ending.
Makes sense! The interpretation definitely ties in with the conclusion of the piece.
