Artist notes
This was somewhat of a rush job as time got the better of me. The setting of the artwork suggested to me a more traditional route with some religious elements, and I tried to tell the tragic story through my piece of music.

Great theme! I love the use of the harpsichord here, really brings the listener into that ancient fantasy setting of the original artwork. I really appreciated the clear shifts in mood as we move from one story beat to the next, it was a really effective bit of musical storytelling! Awesome job!
I think you’ve captured the medieval/fantasy vibe very well! It also has some tragic undertones which fits nicely too ^-^
In the middle of the piece, everything is upbeat. But then it switches to a more haunting feeling, i like the way you transitioned between two emotions at 1:12. Good work here!
This reminds me of the prologue in games where it foreshadows a grim outcome for the characters involved. I like how it escalates around the 1:10 mark and continues to have harrowing vibes until the end. Great work!
I really liked the instrument choices XD. It captures what I feel is the overall emotion quite well. For me personally, I would have liked to start in a major key, if only initially, to do some storytelling that covers the first panel.
The changing instruments and levels throughout were nice. Personally, I would have liked more variance in the piece, although I can certainly appreciate the value of its stability.
I think you captured the feel of a tragic story and I thought the transitions between sections were really well done!
