  • A clever concept for a word game and works well for the theme. I liked having to find new words from my own words, but I almost think this game works better with pen and paper than as a video game. The game itself isn't offering much outside of a timer, it's kind of like playing single-player countdown but without the variance provided by random letters. Well-presented and functional, I feel like some more UI feedback would have helped when it came to replaying the same words, and dragging letters is so much slower than typing or writing, so changing your mind in the 2nd round is not much of an option if you're going for a high score. --- "Really clever implementation of the feedback loop theme - each word you create becomes the letter pool for the next word, creating a genuine feedback system where your outputs become your inputs. The mechanics are elegantly simple but create interesting strategic depth as you balance immediate scoring with setting up future possibilities. The tabletop aesthetic is well-executed and appropriate for the word game genre. For a solo developer, this shows excellent scope management and polish within the jam constraints. The concept is strong enough that it could work as a commercial word puzzle game with some additional features and progression systems. This is an interesting concept, and fun to play. It could use some quality of life improvements, though, such as a sound and/or visual cue when your time is close to running out. Similarly, a 'remove all tiles' button would be useful. Amazing little game, well done! Clever mechanics and pleasant feel. Not much I can recommend in terms of improvement. Lots of potential fo expansion."

Thank you!

Neat little game! I love the ambience and the graphics, and it reminded me of some old games I played as a kid. It got me thinking about the best possible words to get the most out of my previous one, so it was a nice little puzzle. I'm very curious about how many words you put in the game, since it must have taken ages to build up a good dictionary.

Well done!

Thank you! Getting the words wasn't actually so bad as you can find lists of English words online, drop them into a text file, and then turn them into a searchable list. Think the one I found was this one (forgot to add it to external assets form oops).
