- "Really good attempt at creating an interesting puzzle game. Overall, it offered a great user experience with decent graphics and music. The levels progressed with incremental difficulty, which was enjoyable. The puzzles were engaging and made you think, drawing you into the gameplay. However, the game has very little to do with the theme. The feedback loop should be an integral part of the gameplay, but in this case, it simply acts as a replacement animation when the player dies. As a result, the core gameplay doesn’t truly revolve around the “feedback loop” theme. Suggestions: In terms of game design, it sometimes felt like you intentionally wanted the player to die just so the rewind animation would play — this shouldn't be the case. The rewind animation was also too long, which made the gameplay feel a bit tedious. Regarding the mechanics, the jump should have been mapped to the up arrow key rather than the spacebar. That change would have made the controls more intuitive and the gameplay smoother."

Congrats for doing alone, and its great to see other game maker fellows. I really like the transpotation back, was wondering how you did this. Simple but very funny!
Thanks for playing my game! For the transportation effect I created a path whenever the level started and every few seconds would add the players position as a point on the path. When the player hit a spike it would move the player along this path until it reached the end where it would delete all the old points and start again. For the visual effects I just messed around with gamemaker's in built shaders layer. Hope this helped!
Fantastyc!
Game was very fun but so slow... I really liked the effect when the player is transported back to start!
Glad you liked the transportation effect and you are right the game can feel slow to play.
The thing I like about this game is that unlike most of the games it matches the theme
Thanks!
Cool art style, but the rewinding was a little much. Maybe the ability to hit space while rewinding to stop it.
Thanks for the advice I'll be sure to add that feature if I ever improve the game.
Cute game! Simple, but with an interesting premise. The pixel art was cute, and I think the concept of having to sacrifice yourself to progress is a good one. I think if you ever came back to the game, I'd suggest making the movement/rewind speed a bit faster, as it felt a bit slow.
Nice work either way, though, especially since it looks like you made nearly everything yourself (as a one person team, to boot)!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed my game.
