How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
It's a platformer, you run around on platforms chasing the good guy (knight).
How does this game fit the theme?
You play as the enemy. Also, you're the one who can kill and has an ability (dash).
What did you make yourself and what assets did you use?
All of the assets except the enemy (you) are from itch.io. The enemy (you) was made from an asset also found from itch.io. The other credits are found in-game, I forgot to put them there.
Did you use any AI assets in this game?
No. If there are, they were generated by someone else.

ive barely ever made game thumbnails, that's why it looks so bad. im also terrible at naming
I love a dash mechanic and this one felt super fun and polished, the animation and sound effects made it feel impactful, and the multi directional use was fun!! i'm not sure how the knight was controlled but he seemed to get stuck in the levels and he straight up jumped off the platforms on his own a couple times. I'd love to see more development on this, super great base to improve on!!!
atticusidx put a really bad dash mechanic and it felt really clunky, i just stole the one from celeste to make it better. the knight was controlled with a prewritten list of inputs, it's pretty simple. when he slipped off the platforms, that was not actually supposed to happen but it adds something to the game. the problem is that when he gets stuck on a wall, he looks like a moron.
Great work! The dash mechanic was cool!
atticusidx put a really bad version of it in his first thing that he made, i just built up from there
