How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
This is a fast-paced 2D platformer where precision and timing are key. The unique twist is the gravity inversion mechanic: the player can flip gravity mid-air, navigating complex vertical layouts in creative ways. Instead of just jumping gaps or climbing, players must master movement both on the floor and ceiling to survive.

How does this game fit the theme?
The theme was interpreted through the gravity inversion: "what's up is down", and vice versa. What appears to be an obstacle may become a path when gravity reverses. It also reflects the idea of duality—light vs dark, rise vs fall—making the world itself feel "inverted" and unfamiliar.

What did you make yourself and what assets did you use?
All core systems were developed from scratch, including the gravity inversion mechanic, enemy AI, camera system, UI, and player controls. Assets used: I used only free assets with proper licenses, including sounds, fonts, and visual elements from trusted sources like Kenney.nl and Freesound.org. All assets used are royalty-free and permitted for use in both personal and commercial projects.

Did you use any AI assets in this game?
No.

Great I like it!
You use well your mechanics, it's cool how you mix challenges. I didn't like though how some jumps are too big, you never see where you will land and I don't like that, it's not intuitive I'd say.

I like the idea of flipping gravity. I came up with something similar. But I feel the the acceleration and the camera movement was to fast. So I got stuck in the walls at some point.

I got stuck in a wall at some moment, but overall the idea is great, gameplay is very smooth! Nice game!

Nice game! The SFX and audio fit really well. I agree with the comment about the camera—it accelerates so fast at times it almost looks blurry. I love what you did with the background! Also ran into a bug where, if you get hit and reverse gravity at the same time, the player disappears and is now inside the wall and can’t progress the level. But overall, great job!

Since you asked for honest feedback: The camera accelerates a bit too fast sometimes, the  checkpoint system could be a bit more forgiving, and I'd like the option to use keyboard only or controller only(I checked both options but either way the mouse is required for attacking and flipping).

Other than that the game is really fun and the music, writing and sound works well together. Good job!

fun game, I liked the gravity inversion mechanic and it was fun fighting the monsters and platforming around. I think the movement felt a bit too fast sometimes making the platforming and dodging kinda difficult. Awesome job on the game!
