Really cool time reversal mechanic! I liked how crazy the players momentum could get sometimes on slopes when reversing gravity. Nice entry, great work!
Simple and fun little platformer! Nice execution and I liked the simple but effective visuals. Thanks for making and sharing your game.
Nice entry, the idea is well-implemented. Love to have it longer.
my team and i were planning to do a similar thing but i just couldn't figure out how to make it good. the levels are made quite well. the subtle effects like glow and the red and blue thing on the player (i have no idea what it's called) are nice. the lack of music is sad, i dont think i found a single piece of audio except the jump. some levels are quite challenging. making it kind of just stop time after a point is kind of weird but makes sense. the platforming feels kind of strange. jumping doesn't feel particularly nice, the physics is kind of weird, you move too fast to make precise movement, falling feels weird, there appears to be no jump buffering, no coyote time. you can also still push things slightly in reversing time. overall, it's a good concept but it feels more like a proof of concept than a game
Thanks for feedback, yeah, it felt to me like proof of concept as well. That's why it is missing coyote and has strange movement, i tried to just make it playable, because the concept and physics were tricky :)
Red-blue thing, i believe is 'chromatic aberration'
oh, that's right. i know i've seen that phrase somewhere, i think in blender
Really nice take on the reverse time concept, well executed and the (unfortunately few) levels are well designed. Well done!
wish there was a few more levels because playing around with the backspace is very fun! cool concept and cool game!
The concept of the game is really cool! The character interacted with some of the surfaces weirdly, but I think this concept could be really interesting if you had more time to work on it.
I really like how you took and implemented the theme, plus the controls feel pretty good. Good work.
Awesome fun game, only downside is how quick it ended. Really liked to play with physics and time rewind
Very nice, uses the reverse time in cool ways!
Very interesting game, it's always fun to play with time reverse
Very fun concept!
short but really well made game! it was fun to play
Fun play on the theme. I thought the time reverse ability was well put together and fun to play with!!
I dont know why but calling your game backspace and using the backspace key is such a cool thing that I was not expecting lol
Yeah, thanks
When the idea of that name popped in my head, i was like 'yeah, that's it, i now must name it like that'.
I find it funny that the button was backspace from the start and the name came almost at the end of the development
Great job! This is the only time-traveling project where time actually goes backwards, not just the player)
Nice! I think I got around 13-15sec.
You can complete it literally in no time. Timer runs back when you reverse time.
So, it's a tricky game to speedrun, top results will be just 00.00.00 :)
Nice concept! Silly but clever use of the theme. Great work!
Short but really fun!
Yeah, that was my goal for my first game Jam :)
Glad you liked it!
Fun, great fit for the theme!
