How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
generic platformer, in style of a generic platformer, nothing new, maybe except of a little rpg (choose your own story exactly) part but already seen such platformers elsewhere…

How does this game fit the theme?
inverted motions + inverted a little position of a player and being played (this game knows more about you than you about this game)

What did you make yourself and what assets did you use?
myself: art, vfx, tilemaps and partially level design (setting up tiles inside level), additionally used ouside ai - existing free assets: code (used low/no code engine) and audio

Did you use any AI assets in this game?
yes, narrative at the end and a little help with level design (setting up which level where, not what tiles in which places ofc)

Beat the thing :). Wasn't particularly big on the inverted controls, but I digged the level design. Reminded me of superbad.com

Developer

hah. 3 exactly same results from that. didn't thought of it 😂 well… level design for each path is different, so… yeah, different one :)

Absolutely adorable gfx IMHO, and the music/sfx suits very well. Original idea with the different story paths and quite fascinating trying to find them all. Great work!

Developer

actually it was meant to be played once but okay…

Submitted

unique game. the controls are reversed but still pretty convenient which is good👍 my colors are purple-red-lime-cyan btw

Developer

your same as raider below in comments lol. and well… inverting buttons wasn't a hard task tbh…

Submitted

I really liked searching for other endings! Wish it had some kind of indicator on screen or in menu that showed how many you unlocked. The game was very fun!

Developer

it was not meant for that…

Submitted

I get it, but just being able to play it that way was something I really enjoyed. Sorry if that was not as you planned

Developer(+1)

ok then, it just wasn't meant to be, do what you want to enjoy…

Some reverse mechanics are well done! You did a great work!

Developer

generally reversing arrows was like 2 LOC, so like not exactly much… been focused more on graphics and theme of each sublevel tbh…

Fun Game, I liked the art style and assortment of themes between the levels. My barcode was purple, red, lime, lightblue. I wish there was a way to remember or track the different floors you've seen. Almost like achievements. Also a way to reload instead of restart so I can see more of the game!!

Developer

dictionary-like description of you. here we go:

🤭

Developer

i got everyone who will say their colors or show a screenshot of ending level tbh…

Submitted

Nicely done! The music was an absolute banger. Levels were solid, and I loved the art style, it all tied together so well. Also, thank you for not inverting the up and down controls lol. Great work!

Developer

btw - what colors you got at the end?

Submitted (1 edit)

Skyblue

Developer

but all 4 at topleft? it's a barcode…

Submitted

Oh dang, lemme try it again haha. Thanks!

Great visuals!
I thought about reverse controls for this jam, but i was afraid that it will be too frustratng for players. But after playing this, i guess it can work :)

Submitted

Hey! nice game... but the reversed controls mechanic could have had a more of a spin to it, as just reverse controls was easy to get used to (for me). The game should have been longer as well

Developer

it wasn't even about it…

Submitted

I wish the game was longer. I also wish that it told me that the controls were inverted from the start.

Developer

HAHA!
