How is this game a platformer, what spin does it bring to the genre?
you use platforms to get the character to the end of the game, typical side scroll 2d platformer. BUT you play as a platform! and you must get the character to the end safely
How does this game fit the theme?
this REVERSEs the normal game play of platformers, you play as the platform and try to get the character to the end safely
What did you make yourself and what assets did you use?
I made the snail and its animations myself. took me house. made the coin and its animations. made the music. used a old pickup sound effect. ran out of time, grabbed a free asset pack for the platforms
Did you use any AI assets in this game?
no

Cool way to work the theme! Nice job!
Great job on your first animation—keep going with it! I'd be curious to see how your game would play differently with an ever-so-slightly faster top speed and acceleration/deceleration applied to your platform movement. There were a couple of instances where I lost that could have been more close calls (which is always more exciting than straight up losses) during my runs. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Lovely game - the snail is adorable, who can not want to help it? The game have nice and suitable controls and a good progression of difficulty. A good take on the jam theme as well. Nice work!
Fun and unique interpretation of the reverse theme!
I had fun playing this one.
Very cute game! It reminds me of chilhood games, especially music. Visual part is at high level!
Cute! Totally gave me childhood game vibes. The platform could use a bit more friction to keep the snail from sliding off too easily, but overall great job!
Wow, cute game. I love the 'lose' animation :)
Adorable visuals and style overall. Nice the interpretation of the theme.
Maybe some sort of checkpoint system can help players a bit.
reminds me of old web flash games
