Thank you so much! Happy you liked the works of nate ehehe :))

cute and easy :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D (IT SHOULDN'T BE EASY IT SHOULDN'T BE EASYYYY HAHAHA) next time I'll try to spend more time on playtesting lol

The intro scene is great! Gameplay, audio and visuals really blend with each other as well. However, after some point the game feels repetetive. By that I mean it doesn't get hard enough, and more varieties would go a long way. . Other than those I had a great time playing it!

Developer(+2)

Ehyy! Thanks a lot! Really agree with you, more upgrades were planned as well, but the main problem in my opinion is mostly that with the game difficulty being so low, also the "better ratings"and the "kids patience" upgrades become obsolite as well so yeah, would love to fix these later after the jam finishes! :))

Want to start by saying that the first 3 or so minutes of playing were great. I couldn't help but smile with how the music and sound effects were intermingled. I think the most concise way to put my critique is that the game unfortunately outstays it's welcome, becoming trivially easy over time. The main thing I would've liked is if the game either ended at some point, or if the difficulty curve was balanced to make losing an inevitability. All that said, this is probably the most polished game from the jam I've seen so far, keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much man, i really spend a lot of time making jam games feel as juicy and polished as possible ahaha so this makes me sooo happy, sadly i didn't have a lot of time left to test the difficulty and see if it expected my likings (spoiler, it didn't ahahah) so yeah i agree with most of the comments saying this, thanks again! :D

Amazing, it's really fun to play. The implementation of the theme and the special item is spot on.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I actually was scared that the theme of malfunctioning was not really evident, so i made the starting cutscene to had some context ahahah

Submitted(+1)

Wowieee, that is on another level! That is crazy that you something that polished for a jam. It feels amazing to play and is hilarious. The only thing it is lacking in is variety. The game feels very samey no matter how long you play it. I think it'd be literally perfect and a straight up standalone game if it were expanded with all kinds of unique upgrades and more kid types. lovely work, Definitely a top game

Developer(+2)

Wow thank you so much, this makes me very happy, sadly most of the things i planned to add didn't make it into the final submission, but i'm still happy with what i made, hope i'll have the chance and will to work on it in the future (even though i say this about every jam game but i never do so AHEM)

Submitted(+2)

hehehe I know the feeling all to well. Some day, the day will come. All unfinished projects can one day turn into finished ones

Lovely and addictive ¦3

Awesome use of multi-layered music that turns on and off when you burn these zombies feed those kids.

Although it turns repetitive by level 10, and by level 100 the laser gets upgraded to something that evaporates everyone at the slightest touch. I tried to break the game by collecting enough +1 seconds to not feed them anymore, but that would require swinging around for another 50 levels or so.

I had lots of fun, thank you for that experience!

Developer(+1)

AHAAHHA, thank you, so happy you had fun! (I had probably less fun making the upgrades system work within the last two hours lol ) btw yeah, i just added some values not really testing them out in the later waves as there were other things i was more worried about like making the game actually work :') Thank you so much again! :D

Cool idea, and the implementation of the game was superb. The sound track and the "nam nam"s were hilarious. Excellent Work

Developer(+1)

AHHAHAA yeah I'm a fan of the nom noms too, thanks Nate 🙏thank you so much :))

Okay we got a game on our hands,  you guys knew what you where doing, gameplay is adicticting, sound desing with the voice's that activate on ice cream feeding and goes with the music sound so nice to the hear, Pixel art is great and the little story card at the begining are so well made. 10 OUT OF 10 👏

Developer(+1)

Aaaaah thank you a lot! Sadly today i couldn't play and rate any jam game, but tomorrow I'll try to play some other, i feel bad having just rated just 5 song :')) thanks again! :D

The game was very very fun! I enjoyed waiting for a bunch of kids to pile up, before filling their mouths with ice cream! It was very enjoyable and the whole game felt very responsive! Music and SFX were also amazing, along with all the visuals. I love how all the coins gets collected at the end, with the ding ding ding ding sound. And the implementation was far more creative than the "Oh nooo, the mcdonalds ice cream machine is broooken" thing everyone was going for. 10/10

Final review is 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5

Brilliant and unique idea! This game has so much potential with solid core mechanics. Just need to add a few more variations of kids and upgrades.

Incredible sound effect. Honestly, I’d love to use it as my alarm (yum-yum-yum). It is just too cute!!

Developer(+2)

YEAAAH HAHAHAH thanks a lot, nate is the evil man behind the yum yum sound HAHAHAH would be nice to continue it into the future, but i already got some projects pending, so i guess I'll could but not right away :')

This is fantastic! Fun gameplay loop, amusing art, and great audio integration. The viewport feels a bit small, but that might also be my monitor?
Either way, you all did a great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so muchhh happy you liked it, about the viewport we are probably just used to different game Interfaces ahahh, it's ok, thanks again! :))

This game is amazing! I love the art and music, the feeling of moving around and the camera movements all feel super nice! Love the little detail of the kids being in tune to the music, genuinely amazing work :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you soooo much, the polishness of a game is a really important part for me lol so thanks again, for the music and sounds tho you need to thank my man Nate Sassoon, he came with the idea of the kids being in tune to the music and with everything sound related! :D

Submitted(+1)

Nate cooked with that one frfr :D And honestly this feels like what polish should be too me Im definently walking away with a new understanding from this one

Developer(+1)

Happy to hear this :D Thanks again! <3

Submitted(+1)

This is so goofy and fun! Love how smooth the art is and how simple but fun the gameplay is. Good job making a game that can be easily played over and over :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! Really happy to hear about this, i focused a loooot to add theserouge-lite elements to make the gameplay loop better, so i'm happy it worked! :D
