Lovely playthrough, awesome job team!! The art is super sick love the color palatte, sfx are very nice, background music is great (loved the win screen song). The player character controls are a bit tricky at first but getting over the learning curve was well worth it and a fun challenge. I think you got a lot of mileage out of the mouse only controls, nice job there. All in all an excellent submission!

You've made, definitively, the BEST grapple controls I've seen yet. The controls are as smooth as butter, the difficulty truly feels earned, and the game is short enough for struggling to add JUST enough playtime to make everything worth it. One of my top 3 games. Fantastic job!

It's clear that this game was made by people who know what they're doing: the visuals are top-notch (the best of the whole jam, I'd even wager to say), the whole framing of the game with original music, menu etc. is very solid and the 'platformer with grappling tongue' controls are executed way better than most other games with that concept. The only minor thing holding this game back for me is the fact that the concept/gameplay is pretty similar to a lot of other games in this jam, but presentation-wise this far exceeds its peers. Great job to all of you!

This game was really fun! I love the art style and the feel of the gameplay! I wonder though, what was the reasoning of the jumping vertical only decision? For games on this jam that made a similar game, you could use you mouse to change the direction of the jump. Why did you guys decide to only do vertical?
It was to make the controls and movements more unique but it didn't quite played out how we expected and really just made the game harder.
I was the dev and I was the only one playing the game for a long time before anyone else could play test it. So of course it seemed way easier to me lol
That's so real. I often question how my game is hard to some people but I, as the game dev, literally have the knowledge of the game from the ground up. All it took was to watch gameplay of a clueless beta tester (who also to happen to rarely play video games) for me to make changes so that majority people could understand it!

This game is really fun and insanely hard hahaha! While trying to climb, I ended up pulling off some epic moves, only to fall all the way back down in the end. Felt just like playing Jump King!, It's a great project, I really liked the art. Congrats!

This is the first grappling game in this jam for me and I can say it did NOT disappoint!
The game is really fun, The frog was really fun to control, Im not the biggest fan of left click to jump but it was a prerequisite so cant complain bout that lmao
Though the game felt a bit lenient, like there were enough platforms that with the grapple mechanic, its nearly impossible to fall off to the bottom. (Id just like to see more punishment for missing a jump)
Other than that, the art and sound design were truly amazing!
I LOVE that artstyle you guys went with and the music and SFX complement it all really well!
Also the love story part is just a cherry on top

I really liked the controls. It took a little bit to get used to, but after I realized that I almost don't need the jump, it got much easier 馃槄
