Unity

How does your game fit the theme?
In this game, the spear is everything — it's not just a weapon, it's your core resource:

You use it to attack enemies.

You use it to teleport, but only if the spear has hit something.

You use it to dash, adding mobility and strategy.

And when you kill an enemy with it, you even get healed.

Easter Egg Challenge
Easter Egg Challenge
Hidden beneath the platform room lies a secret chamber containing models of the future bosses planned for updates after the game jam.

To reach this secret area:

Stand on the edge of the main platform.

Jump off into the air and aim carefully.

Throw your spear toward the hidden room below.

If your aim is good, press Q to teleport into the secret boss chamber.

Unity’s CharacterController doesn’t let you move the player directly using transform.position. Fixed it by disabling the CharacterController, moving the player, then re-enabling it.

Super satisfying mechanics!

Throwing the spear, teleporting to it, and dashing around feels fast, fluid, and fun.
Combat has a great rhythm once you get into it, and surviving wave after wave gets intense quick.
Really solid prototype — would love to see this turned into a full game

Thank you so much!

I’m really glad you enjoyed the mechanics — making the spear feel powerful and satisfying was a big focus during development.
The fast-paced flow and wave intensity were meant to challenge players and reward creative movement, so it means a lot to hear that came through!

And yes, this is just the beginning — I definitely plan to continue development and turn this into a full game post-jam.
Appreciate the support and encouragement! 🙌

Cool concept, and the spear-throwing and teleporting mechanic worked. The main character looked great visually. The environment could use a bit more polish and content, but the visual effects were ok.
I couldn’t really fend off the skeletons effectively. Throwing the spear at the eyes in the sky worked, but in melee, the spear felt a bit too slow or something. Even when I teleported away and they came running at me.
The music was energetic and uplifting.
Theme was checked but could maybe be a bit deeper.

A solid foundation for more content and further gameplay polish. Nice job! 🔥

Im not sure if its me running on linux but  on the main menu the text doesnt show (and now the buttons dont react (restarting the game did fix that))

Other than that a unironically enjoyable game although i dont quite get how it fits the theme.

Some sugestions I think could make the game more enjoyable:

1. Limit sprinting (by stamina)

2. Introduce a dash (might cost stamina)

3. Give some form of melee combat as fighting the melee dudes is rather tiering with a spear.

4. Add some form of feedback to know when you are actually able to attack

5. Possibly make the enemies drop stuff like health boosts or stamina regens if you where to make such a mechanic.

Also when the music ends the first time it doesnt start again

Developer

Thank You for your feedback, and I will definitely improve the game after game jam end.

It's a cool game and I like the concept but I had quite a few bugs. I wasn't able to dash after the first time and throwing the spear doesn't really align with where I'm aiming, so I was unable to get the melee guys of me. I think if the aiming is more accurate, it can be a pretty cool wave fighter. Add in some environmental interactions like barrels or more ability and you got something pretty cool going on.

Thank You, So Much for you feedback, After game jam i must improvement and also add more content.❤️😊
