Very fun game! Surprisingly addicting as well. The music and the art was really nice, too. The only thing was the top score/time which was a bit difficult to read. Other than that, really good.
Everything is amazing! Very fun to play, the visuals are very very good, the sounds are perfect. However the score text on the top left is hard to see and also the timers are really slow which is not very good for fast paced games! But overall very good job!
Really addictive haha! Once I figured out I could prepare in advance I was rushing and multitasking like crazy. Its very cute and funny too, the art has its own charm.
Thank you so much!
I did also love preparing in advance when playtesting. I was considering if i should make a limit to how many items you can put at the table at once, but decided not to because it's more fun this way. Which also means you can fill the table up with 100 sodas lmao
bad game you didnt add the funny mcdonalds beeping sounds smh
Man i think your mcdonalds is not properly storing their items
human i remember yr mcdonalds not working
Nice to see an empty office every now and then x). Btw the game is really addiciting, if you could somehow add a power up syste, it's gonna get even more addicting lol. For ex you can add levels (or days, like day 1, day 2 and etc). It'd also be great if you could directly deliver the orders to the customers, instead of fist putting them on the table and then delivering it. That'd make the gameplay a bit faster. The music when the ice cream machine brakes adds to the stress of customers as ell . Also, I figured out that you can deliver the products to the customers even while they're leaving. Apparently as long as they're in the room, you can deliver their order. Great game!
I lowkey liked the characters more no face like in logo, music mute but would be nice, other wis
It looks like the scene is cut, even in fullscreen, i'd love to retry your game when this is fixed
Hey mate! You have to press space bar to switch to the kitchen, there's more info on the controls / tutorial part of the game's itch page. Cheers!
Oops sry, thx !
It's pretty funny and well imlpemented, cool!
Thanks!
I got it eventually, it's like fps overcooked 🙏 it's gud!
Glad you had fun!
Had a LOT of fun playing this. My only problem is with the difficulty scaling. At first the scaling felt awesome, but after having figured out the strategy, it seems that it's pretty much impossible to lose. In fact, once you have a lot of points, you can AFK for a very long time without losing, since it seems that the loss condition is your points reaching zero. I think I would tie loss to the number of customers waiting for you instead, or to your score falling a certain amount below the highest score you got during the run, and I'd maybe introduce an extra lane in the late game and speed up the difficulty scaling from there
Other than this the gameplay loop is super good I love it so much. The ice cream machine's mechanic is perfect
Thank you SO much!
I won't lie, the difficulty scaling, though existing, was quite rushed. Basically, the time it takes for a new customer to walk in slowly decreases, and in theory, it should reach a point where serving all customers is not possible, thus making you lose points until you lose, but I think something went wrong. I think I might be able to fix it, but I don't know if actually changing the lose condition would be fair game after submitting. I know bug fixing is allowed, but dunno about this.
This is fundamentally a time management game. I like how it creates a sense of rush with all those orders and machines! It took me a while looking into the description to understand how to operate those machines. I couldn't find a restart button in the game (perhaps I missed that), so it took multiple webpage refreshes.
For the 'NO TIME TO WRITE OMG', I also just realized that it can be edited xd.
Aw man I forgot about the restart button! It would be so easy to implement too, just reload the scene and we're done, such a shame.
I don't know whether it would count as bug fixing, but if it does, I might take a few mins to implement it. Thanks for your review tho! I'm glad you enjoyed our game!
I really liked this entry! Loved the gameplay, remembers me somehow of fnaf-like games, probably because of the "hold to fix them ice cream machine" thingy, liked the art also, the characters and the music getting distorted when you break the machine! A tutorial in game would've been awesome, but i undestand lol
ps: best part of the game was reading on this rate page "NO TIME TO WRITE OMG" AHAHHAHA
Thank you very much!
And yeah, I did plan to make a tutorial, but time was running out. I couldn't even make a menu, or the text for the question lmao. I do know I can change it now, but I bet people find it funny to see "NO TIME TO WRITE OMG".
Sorry to say, but even with full screen I can't see below the counter and wasn't able to do anything :(
Hey! You're meant to press space bar, this will allow you to switch between the kitchen and the dining hall, cheers!
The main gameplay loop is well made and I like the choice of controls, point and click, though the customer wait time felt a bit too short. ^^
Cheers! The time it takes for a new customer to spawn is actually decreasing as you play, in order to make the game harder and harder, until impossible at one point, like those old arcade games that inevitably end in failure, though it's a bit less punishing in this game, because you still have a chance of getting 5 customers wanting drinks in a row.
But I might see if it needs any change, the whole feature was definitely a bit rushed.
