How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The main spaceship player is malfunctioning and can only stop moving when they hit walls. The game itself is also malfunctioning because of the ice cream that is falling into it.

The game idea is actually very innovative! I have never seen this kind of mechanics. It is challenging in a way players are required to take the angle into account and plan the future steps. The sound of crashing when I first loaded the game really shocked me lmao. Overall it is a very good design. It will definitely be more popular if it can be played on browser~
I totally agree, I tried to build it for browser and the ice cream wouldn't show up for some reason, so I will definitely build earlier next time. I'm glad you liked it and thanks for playing!
I won when the ice cream was about to touch me, crazy! Thanks for adding tutorials and cool music to the game!
Yo! That's the best feeling, when the stakes are high but you still pull it off. Glad you liked the tutorial and the music! I don't know if you saw but I do have a YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzIVgY1k0lykXKsd6moFqlw if you want to hear more of my music (this games music will be up there at some point along with a video about the jam, assuming I find the time). Thank you for playing!
Damn, now I'm addictied, haha. I love that you added infinite mode, it kept me playing a bit longer :D. Also, I love the mechanic, such a niche idea. Had a blast playing it. Good job!
Thanks! That was definitely the goal of infinite mode so I'm glad you enjoyed it. The idea is (although at the time I didn't realize it) very similar to the flash game "Sticky Ninja Academy", although this definitely has more angle work and the rising floor provides some challenges. Thanks for playing!
haven't tried "Sticky Ninja Academy", I might need to check it out. You can try and make the game (the infinite mode) have some waves. And after each wave we could have some time so that we can spend out "ice creams" to upgrade a feature. I think that would make it even more addicting (I personally would love to play that version as well, haha). Also, you can't ever go wrong with adding particles, that would add juice to the game. And maybe after some amount of waves, we will teleport to another part of the ship? (as a new map, so that the player is not stuck playing the same level, with different difficulties). And last but not least, if you can make the player more bouncy (as in slimes) that would add more to the fun/gameplay aspect. If you ever plan on continuing the game, I personally think those would make the game feel more polished and I would be more than happy to spend hours playtesting it xD. Great mechanic tho!
As an avid Hearthstone player myself, it immediately reminded me of this card:
Neat, I watched an Austin McConnell on Hearthstone but I've never played it
Eyyyy, surprisingly fun for such a simple looking thing! I will also add to saying that the loading screen is top notch and a perfect introduction to the game. The controls are unique and great, it feels very fun zooming around and collecting all the ice cream (I only missed one dang it). Hectic fun that doesn't overstay its welcome. And the sound effects are muah~
Thanks! I had a hard time figuring out what the ice cream pickup sound effect would be and finally landed on an "Orchestra Hit" that was the same base note of the piano track just in a higher octave. But yeah it's hard to get all of them...
Agree with the comment about the loading screen - great first impression and added some personality to the game. Simple and straight forward controls, nicely implemented :) Great job with the piano track!
Thank you! I'm definitely better at music (don't know if you saw but I do have a YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzIVgY1k0lykXKsd6moFqlw) than game development, but it was super fun to make this! Thanks for the positive feedback and for playing!
A super cool concept! Really liked the loading screen and the unique movment despite being tricky to get the hang of. It'd be cool if you could add some leeway on getting through the middle section someway, and with your text, when using pixel art textmake sure to make it the right multiple so you dont get blurry text. Other than that though, super fun game and a really cool concept!
Thanks for the feedback! For the leeway, are you talking about removing the middle box or allowing the player to slide instead of getting stuck on corners? That was a big problem I wasn't quite sure how to fix. Thank you for the text feedback as well, the main reason for that was that I had to majorly scale it right at submission because it was too zoomed in on other screens. But yeah, thanks for playing!
