My best score was 1641 with 5 cat combos, and I had a ton of fun playing! The gameplay, visuals and audio were fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat as I was trying for a higher and higher score! That said, I also had a bit of trouble keeping track of the cursor.  The shaders and visual effects you've added to the game are great, but I do worry that they negatively affect the readability of your visual elements here. Thanks for making and sharing your game, and hosting the jam!

Second of all the presentation on this with the scanlines is super professional like A-lister

I felt like I had stepped into a Neo Geo game like an obscure twin of Pop'n'Bounce.

Which is about as high a praise as I can give.

1st score 1175.  2nd score around 2400 (didn't catch the exact number) 3rd acore: 3155.  That is at least one more playthrough than I would normally do, which says something about the game's addictive qualities.

Curious when I pulled up the submission page, yours 'happened' to be the first one on the list...  Most curious.

Notes:

• Is the cat combo special?  I did not see anything mentioned about it.  (Also having it mew and stuff was disgusting adorable. :3).
• Are the credits supposed to play AND you can still play the game?  I know it no longer adds to the score.
• No pause button?!  Grumble, grumble...
• I had a LOT of trouble following where the token was supposed to be on the board, given how 'floaty' it was and it was hard for to follow where the selector was.  
• The way everything was rendered on the screen was a little hard on the eyes (I'm an old kuro, after all).
• Bonus: I see someone else is now including the Alchemy theme in their game. :)

It is so satisfying to play with the way everything responds to your every input. You can kind of keep playing while the credits roll and I do wish it would keep adding to your score at that point instead of freezing it.

This game is really addictive. It looks & sounds great, and is super satisfying. The credits start unexpectedly, though

Very neat take on a match 3 game! 

This was very satisfying to play. Except for the part where I reached 150 and the credits were rolling, and I kept playing. I liked the timing on every sound, animation and how addicting it was. While the visuals are nice, maybe it's a good thing the game is short - since it's a bit tiresome on the eyes. Very good job overall!
