Quite a good idea! The timing of throwing the laterns made things tense and the monster designs were fun. I can see how you could expand upon this.

I think this is a very unique idea! I loved how you created a sea shanty and designed a game that visually tells that story. It’s very creative! The music and sound effects were amazing and added to the overall atmosphere of the game. However, I agree that it feels more like a short slideshow rather than an actual game. There could definitely have been more gameplay elements beyond just throwing lanterns. Nonetheless, for what it was, I thought it did a decent job of recreating your shanty. Great work!

I really dig the concept of taking action against the creatures. That said, simply tossing lanterns didn’t feel very intense, it kind of played out more like a slideshow and dialed down the horror vibe. On the bright side, the sound effects were spot-on!

The game is a little bit short, love the idea of how you need to do something against those creatures.  But just simple throwing the lanterns not adding anything tense to the player but make the game more like slide show, reduce the horror elements. And also, the SFX is great.
