How did you implement your chosen Theme in your game?
[MILD SPOILERS] This game is about a circus run by magical creatures that need to feed off of humans’ energy to survive. Thus, the goal of this monstrous circus troupe is to scare the audience through their performance, and they do this in many grotesque ways, including murder.
Did you implement any of your Theme's Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Animal Masks - As this is the Circus of the Animals, both the audience and the troupe members are required to wear an animal mask. The masks play a deeper significance to the magic of the circus, as well...
Body Horror - There are several instances of gruesome things being done to human bodies in the circus, such as [SPOILERS] being severed in half and then stitched back together.

Well done! Very unique implementation for the theme, and I loved the art style. At first I wasn't sure where this was going with the dialogue, but it ends up really helping with immersion, and I happen to be very fond of RPGs. Amazing work for a pretty short game jam !
I’m not usually into RPGs, but this game had me hooked just a few levels in. The theme is done so well, and the characters are absolutely awesome

Even though that there is a lot of dialogue very early on in the game, I love it because it's getting me to be hooked to not just to keep playing this game to find out what Kat is really after but also hooked to the storyline.
This game does some moments of humor like with one of people saying Kat's name is fitting because of wearing a black cat mask or Ari saying how Tulip is a fitting name because it's a lovely flower in her words. So the story is definitely 5/5.
As I keep playing more, I like the fact that I can see some moving NPCs around certain areas of the map. I also love how in some moments there are choices that I can make, which as I already said makes me stay engaged and hooked to gain more background information and story of the world around Kat.
The presentation is also really good too, just from reading the game's itch page.
Also as soon as I saw the cut body during the magic trick, I was horrified, just an incredible way to portray horror at that moment. I thought it was fake until Kat's serious expression says it all.
I also love there is a save option and I can always reload it especially after failing a fight. Great work on submitting this to the jam.

Pretty decent rpg from a guy who doesn't play rpgs but the Ari bossfight was a bit underwhelming and I kind of just spammed cut until he died since he kept stealing my energy.
Ari has another attack that is more offensive and that one is programmed to trigger most often, so i guess you just had weird rng haha ! thanks for playing tho :D
