One of the best looking games on the jam, but this is definitely a PS3 title.

About the theme, I don’t understand how it fits the “Summer Dreams” theme, yet we could say this is something you’d do in the summer.

I love riding a boat, since one of my favorite games is Sea of Thieves, but I really wish I could play as the first boat without struggling so much with the waves. When I was about to feel like I was having a lot of fun, my ship would just tumble over.

I LOVE the visuals! It’s not PS1, but it looks really unique and cute. Also love the UI, even though it’s not in the same resolution as the game itself.

I also love the whole sound design, yet it feels like you cannot feel it to its whole potential – When you play on the first boat – Because of how it very frequently just tumbles over.

Great potential! I wish this was more of a “Deliver, get money, upgrade” than a “race and try not to flip the boat” game.

Amazing game! The water physics was very well programmed and the visuals... Wow, what a game, good job!

Developer

thank you so much!!! i was SO happy with how the water physics turned out . . i spend the first few days ONLY working on that, because i knew it had to feel good.

Super, super game.

it reminded me of Wind Waker, a game I spent so much time on.

i am so happy you enjoyed it so much <3

I laughed everytime my boats capsized. It seems only the big boat is the viable choice if you actually want to deliver the crates. The small boats are fun.

I played  the Windows .exe version in Wine on Linux

I enjoyed picking between the boats. I am also relieved I coincidentally did not choose The Barrel for any of the longer trips.

I also liked how the waves had influence on my steering, which I needed to correct for.

Overall: It's a "racing" game, but there's nothing to race against. I think a time trial game needs to be a very well tuned simulation in order justify itself as a time trial.

Fun: The Barrel blew black smoke in my eyes. Interestingly you can drive the boats on land. If you ram into the land at high speed, you can fall through the world.

90s: Too many polygons for real hardware. The shadows appear to be real-time and detailed, which is perhaps too much. I appreciate the absence of "CRT" screen effects.

Visuals: overall I like the art. I think it would be nice to see interpolation on the rudder animation.

Sound: good job on the sound effects and volumes.

The objective is a bit dull but it is overall very charming, good game!

Cool game, the browser version froze my pc for somereason, but pretty cool game

Developer

yes . . . i am not sure  why the browser version worked so poorly. it was probably Godot's fault, but i am unfortunately at a loss for why. Thanks for playing :)

Cool sailing simulation game! I liked how the waves become very treacherous at certain parts of the map. I personally liked the frog hopper boat the best, but that thing can't handle the big waves. Here is my completion time.

Developer

Thanks :) nice time! anything less than 10 minutes is quite good for a first run, i would guess!
