I was casually browsing Itch since I wanted to make a Stop Killing Games game and it turns out there’s a jam for it yippee!

Hi, thank you very much for joining the jam:) It was created by a volunteer from the SKG community. This is an account created to manage the jam.
I created the jam because I thought it would be cool to make a game celebrating the idea of the movement too! But, there was no such jam, so I decided to create it:) Now as the organizer I still can’t join :( Oh, well… I hope You will have fun and create a game to preserve! Good luck! (please, be forgiving, I have never organized any jam before:) )

Hi, I am the initiator of the jam’s idea. Just some disclaimers: I am NOT in the SKG organization, I am just a community member. I created the Stop Killing Games itch account and the jam under that account, to direct attention to SKG movement.
Still, AFAIK there is no one else interested in conducting such a jam, and I think the idea is neat. So I think it’s “legit” in that sense:D
Ross Scott has given permission for this on the Accursed Farms youtube channel, and clarified that this is an entirely community-run thing.
