Which Theme did you choose?

Theatre of the Grotesque

How did you implement your chosen Theme in your game?
The theme Theatre of the Grotesque is explored through the dynamic scenery that begins peaceful, but, through the player's actions, distorts into an alternative grotesque wasteland. The player's journey (or rather desperate flee) takes them through a grotesque forest, inhabited by a frightful beast.

Did you implement any of your Theme's Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
NA

Remind me not to eat mushrooms while camping. I love the characters, they are cute! And I really like the contrast between them and how visceral that heart looked. Great job!

The visuals were super nice, really loved the moody forest and the lighting touches. But I was hoping for a bit more to do, gameplay-wise. I was mostly just walking and watching scenes change.

Still, the atmosphere had potential, and the presentation was pretty cool. Hope you keep building on it! Would be great if you checked out mine too.

It was fun playing the game! I just wish it were a bit longer, but the jumpscares were spot on :)

I loved the art style! The game was very spooky, and a couple of the jumpscares got me! The only thing I will say is that, in my opinion, the game kind of ends out of nowhere. This was a fun game to play. Great work!
