It’s a shame it’s not finished! The art looks amazing, and the death animation is super cool! I’m not sure if it happens to everyone or is just my computer, but the character was moving so fast I could barely control it (maybe the framerate isn’t limited?)

Congrats, and best of luck if you keep working on the game! I’ll be keeping an eye out for future updates!

I don't think we did framerate limiting, but we did use delta time stuff... I am very new to unity so I don't know if that would solve it or not, haha. Thank you for pointing that out, we'll look into it!

And absolutely, we fully intend to continue development on this project :)

I think you've got the foundation for a cool FPS game here! The rat sprites and "death rat" images were pretty solid. I'll hold off on further critique until there's a little more meat on the bones!

Such a shame you didn't get to finish it. The little bit of art I could see from the game webpage and the sprites and UI within the game was truly nice. And the movement was actually really smooth (if only a bit too fast, but that might be just me that I'm not good with first person shooters), so congrats for that as well and I hope you get to finish it!

El sprite de la rata esta muy chulo me recuerda al estilo Darkest Dungeon. El gameplay funciona pero es bastante basico. Buena entrada!

idk what is this game btw

Love the death screen! The art that is there is nice, and the gameplay is smooth. Hope you guys can flesh this out later on!

Developer

Thank you so much! We were kinda using this jam as an excuse to kickstart this project, so there's definitely going to be more :) A couple folks on our team just got hit with life stuff halfway through lol. I'm still happy with what we achieved!

That's great! I will be looking forward to that. Goodluck to your crew!

I dont know what is the objective of the game. I couldn't find any option to set the spanish mode. Actually, I didn't even find a settings window. It seems like the game is not finished yet but I hope you finish it! The controller should clamp the input's magnitude to 1, otherwise, the player will move faster walkin with the w & a keys pressed. Also I didn't find the way to exit and I was forced to use Alt + F4

Submitted

By the way, I have seen your other game and I've noticed that the controller is the exact same one.

Developer

Don't know what to tell you except "you're wrong", because the entire codebase was rewritten from scratch between the two versions

Oh okay okay. It just looked so similar but it might be true. I also have to say that the ramp adaptative controller is good though.

Developer

The trick was having a strong enough downward force to keep the controller on the ramp, but only using it for the grounded states so that it doesn't interfere with the air states like jumping or dashing

Developer

...our game/page doesn't state it has spanish available. So there is no setting for that. Good catch with the exit, it's the esc button, I will add that to the controls on our page (I forgot lol). I'll have to look at the movement speed about that, good point. Thanks for the feedback!

its true sorry. I misread too.

Loved the rats and Hp bar sprites, sadly there wasnt a lot more beside that :(

Developer

Hey, thank you for trying it! Our artists didn't have a lot of time during the jam, so most of the focus was around getting the gameplay fully functional.
