The idea for this one is very creative, but I'm a little saddened that the cauldron doesn't seem to actually do anything other than offer some flavor.

Also this rule: "Starting at the beginning of a round that follows a previous round where players have scored VP."
That could probably be simplified to "starting from round 2" ;)

no guarantee anyone scores round 1 but yah i def could have written it better.

I enjoy the concept, but I have several problems with the mission as laid out.  Simplest, the mission has inconsistent formatting within it and at least one major typo.  Further, you don't provide a default deployment setup and instead direct people to the Advanced Rulebook, which not everyone will have.  I also have issue with the way you describe seizing objectives - requiring base contact isn't awful, but the rules as written do not require enemy units to be far enough away from the objective.  What happens when two models, one from each army, are touching the objective on opposite sides?

Would be quite the opportunity for Shakspearian tragedy if only double on the trouble ;)

The idea of units tasting the stew for random effects and objectives moving is super creative, although I am not sure about the witch. Is that kind of a meta-game where she is interacting with the player only?  Regarding 'growth,' it's quite subtle. While units might 'grow' in power with those stew buffs or even regenerate, the theme just isn't prominent enough for me.  But, I think it would be fun for a seasonal/themed event.

I feel like the theme of this mission might've worked better for AoF:S than AoF; the image of whole armies tromping around in the forest gathering herbs and stuff seems a little far-fetched.

that's fair the mission should work just fine if you wanna try it in skirmish. I picked AoF because units tend to be stickier in that system. 12 bodies last longer than a single one. because of that you'll see better round to round use of the moving objectives. a unit thats taken 7 wounds still has 5 bodies left to gather next round. thats not so true in AoF skirmish.
