Which Theme did you choose?

Dark Streets

How did you implement your chosen Theme in your game?
The game mainly take place in dark streets, with flicking light and something is lurking.

Did you implement any of your Theme's Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
At first I try to make the main character as a detective, but it doesn't fit the theme too well. So the idea is removed and only the model still in the game.

This was an interesting game, The concept was cool and I liked the idea of the enemy being an SCP (cause I like SCP Stuff) but there are problems with this, first of all there is no main menu, second of all I don't like how the deer spawns next to us and when it tries to kill us it doesn't trigger the death screen unless I run into it, third of all The gun is super useless, it doesn't even shoot. However if you continue to work on this and maybe learn a bit more about building tension and atmopshere and keep working on the game, it would actually be a good game :)

I'm going to be honest, I really did not like this. I think the idea is cool, but it took me until I "beat" the game to know what I was even playing.  If it's an SCP game, please at least mention that on the title or game .exe or something, because I had no idea what was going on.  As far the game, I don't like the untextured houses, I don't like how the gun is just useless, I don't like how the deer just spawns next you, I don't like that the deer can't kill you unless you run into it. I just didn't like it.

I like the idea that you were trying to make. I think this could be really cool one day. But as it stands, it really felt like an internal dev build that people like me should have access to.

Yes I know this is not a completed game, And there is a lot if not to say most of the game have issues (yikes). The og game scope was too big and since it was our first time using unreal engine is the reason why this game have that many issues. Me and my friends till working on this project to create a polish game in the future.

I look forward to seeing what comes out in the future.

I wasn’t expecting this to be an SCP game! I liked the overall concept! The deer model was very spooky, and the other assets were well-made as well. However, I noticed that the house models didn’t have textures and only displayed the default Unreal checkerboard pattern.

I also think there should be a delay between when the monster attacks and when you start the game. During my first playthrough, I died almost as soon as I spawned in. Additionally, the monster feels a bit too challenging, as it constantly pursues you after your first encounter. I was only able to achieve the second ending once by getting the monster stuck in a collider.

Also, the UI menus such as the restart button don’t work.

Overall, great work!

Thank for your kind words. This was my first time making game with Unreal, so there is a lot of performance problem, the texture does seem like because of texture stream. I will try fix this in next week.
