Hello, thank you for participating in the first OPR Mission Jam! Please email marketing@onepagerules.com so that we can send you the participation models! Please include 'OPR Mission Jam Participation Minis' in the subject line.
I like the idea of the forest fighting back, and taking damage while next to terrain really reinforces that theme. I like the mechanic being able to burn the obj. at unit activation.
I couldn't quite figure out what's happening in the 2nd last paragraph of the objectives section though. 😅
Well thank you, and do you mean when the jungle specifically attacks the objective markers? It is the normal, player hold objective until other player takes it, but with this mission, the jungle will take it away or will attack any and all units within range of each Objective. I am unsure how I can better explain it.
Ahhhh ok.
At the start of each Round, the Jungle
Invades, if there are no Units controlling or
contesting an Objective, then if a player did
own it, they lose it
I think it's the "if a player did own it" part that got me. Does the player not lose control of the objective by moving out of 1 inch? I'd assume this. Or is the marker destroyed and removed from play?
Sorry for the questions but sometimes my brain is just dumb and gets stuck.
No, you are good, in typical OPR doesn't a player retain control of an objective even if they move the unit off of it? I guess in retaining that rule I made it confusing
What's the motivation for the objectives being placed after deployment? This stuck out to me as it's usually done before picking sides so as to avoid players trying to gain an advantage from their placement choices.
You know, that is a good question, I didn't really consider that. It wasn't really a purposeful choice. Though after considering it I don't mind it, if both players turn three terrain pieces into objectives, it won't matter much because both will place to gain advantage.
