Pretty good game :D

my only problem was that I had to long-press to jump through most platforms

Developer

Thank you for the review! I have somewhat struggled with the level design in the end, the platforms were not supposed to be so separated, but I ran out of time with the designing lol

I like how you can actually rebind controls. This is the only game that I have seen do that so far! It's pretty fun (and addicting), the art style is clean, and it gives off a retro vibe.

Developer

Thank you! It was a surprisingly easy feature to implement so I just put it in all of my unity projects from now on lol

Thank you so much :)

It was a little to laggy.

Developer

Hi, thanks for the review! I am still figuring out how to optimize games in unity and I think the shader ended up being very performance-heavy :(

i like it, reminds me about Enter The Gungeon, but u should make inputs better and add some gamejuice like screenshake, also learn about  postproccesing

Developer(+1)

Tbh I cant believe I forgot to add screenshake to the game, I think I even had the scripts ready somewhere :( I definetely should learn about postprocessing, do you have any advice on where to start? Thank you for the review as well!!!

just type postproccesing in youtube, actually u need somerhing like bloom, toone spliting and other if you find them usefull

Developer

Hi, thank you! I will be checking out your game promptly :)

Fun game! I loved the art and the disco color scheme! The controls were nice and tight, too. The aiming felt a little off to me - I'd be pointing at an enemy and firing and my bullets would go straight into the ground. It took me a second to figure out I had to aim up above the enemies in order for the gun to shoot straight. But overall, pretty cool game!

Developer

Hi! Thank you for the review :) Yeah the aiming is a bit weird because the weapon is not pointing directly at the cursor but is a bit under it, I am still not sure what to do with that - it feels more realistic which is good, but also is annoying lol
