That's an excellent bullet hell and the art is so good! The newspaper loading screen really sets the mood and tone for the game, while also providing useful information - it's excellent!
Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words <3
Wow, wasn’t expecting to see a Bullet Hell game in this jam! I got up to 9930 points. I liked the art aesthetic, and the boss designs were really cool! There were some neat bullet patterns that I encountered as well! The highscore menu was a nice touch too! I will say that my major issue with this game is that it’s so damn hard. It’s 100% a skill issue, and I get that these types of games are typically on the harder side. I’m just not cut out to be a pro gamer I guess. Anyways, good game from what I managed to get past. Great work!
Thank you so much for playing! :D
Yeah I tried to make it easier but also wanted players used to shoot em ups to give it a shot but 9930 isn't bad :D thanks again for playing and for the kind words <3
This is a very impressive shoot-em-up games in the jam. But my score was only around 3000 or something like that because the game got too hard with all the bullets roaming around the screen. The overall artwork and sprite animations were very well done.
Thanks again for playing, to be honest I made it so it would be 10 times easier then the usual shmup LOL I guess I failed but, after level 1 you start stacking lives because each 10k score gives 1 life, thanks again for giving it a shot and for the kind words :)
Beautiful art, great setting and hype game play :)
Thank you so much for playing and for recording the playthrough I think you are the only that finished the game so far! you get a Gendgi Medal of honor lol
Nice, I wasn’t expecting a boss rush in the jam, Got 5320 score, then the panda showed up and it was game over. It’s actually really addictive, with a bit of polish on the core loops, it could be an amazing game. I really liked it 🦋🦋🦋
Thank you so much for the kind words, yeah after level 1 you start stacking lives so it becomes easier :D since every 10k score gives you an extra life and every hit on the enemies gives you score ;)
Yeah needs a lot of polish hehe, thanks again <3
Bro im so bad got only 6780 Anyway really good job and I love that you actually implemented a leaderboard im always sucker for those. Only issue is that the controls are something else really.. Unless they are costimizible and im just an idiot lol. Could you help a brother out and try mine out and tell me what you liked or disliked?
Hey thank you so much for playing! the controls are in fact customizable lol and its gamepad compatible too XD I will play yours asap ! :D
Nice bullet hell! The enemies look creepy, and the little backstory in the intro was a nice touch.
Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words :D
I got to the boss of Act 2, but couldn't beat the guy.
So far I think it's a really solid shmup, controls are snappy, everything has high contrast and easy to see.
Especially liked the sprites, those are awesome.
Couldn't help but notice you're using Ogre engine. It's also not the first time I see a really good shump made with it. Is it actually a good engine for this kind of stuff?
Hello! Thank you for playing, I am using Shmup Creator an engine dedicated specifically for making shoot em ups, (my speciality is the art so I picked this no code engine), I believe the engine is made using Ogre engine if I am not mistaken, but it is an extraordinary engine if you want to make something fast enough and focus on gameplay/art.
