That is the idea, like I wrote in the update log, the idea on using community posts is to both better organize topics, like distinguishing between random discussions, ideas and bugs, and at the same time reducing the number of crap bots spamming the comments and putting people at risk.
Unfortunately, I do not have the time to always timely respond to feedback and ideas, but I do hope that by better organizing this same feedback, we will have an easier time participating in the discussion, since personally, I find the sharing of ideas and opinions to be one of the crucial points of this remake :).
Some opinions on the backgrounds indicate they do not match the tone of the original, which is fair, they are indeed more colorful and less photo-realistic, so we’re testing with saturation of the images to find a sweet spot between tone and keeping the new artstyle.
This is an example of the Forest background with less 30% saturation, let me know if it looks better, worse or if we should increase/decrease saturation.
The left version looks better I think its like a good balance between the new art and getting closer to the previous tone but personnally I dont mind too much, I actually like having some regions less gloomy than before (There is a little bug walking on my screen its annoying...) any way what where I saying? xD I think the left side for forest is great, for other regions it may depend, like the cabin could stay as it is because its home and you gotta feel safe at home but sewer and Swamp could use a little more i guess because the vibe there is more prone to it (now the bug is flying around me always passing between my eyes and my screens, she better stop or i will activcate Rambo mode agaisnt her) So yeah, I guess its a qustion of which regions should inspire what feelings according to previous version and the music of regions can help having something that match the tone of it.
The more I look at it and yeah the left side look really great in comparison of the right side which look too much vibrant, especially the green which pop a lot on the right side so yeah difinitely the left side is better (Alright im done, the bug just has made her last lap, because now i wont rest until she fall asleep, difinitely...)

Ive tested every sleep schedule lol i can relate, If i had to tell i would say im in a funny situation where I like to sleep but i dont like to go to sleep xD so im always pushing the moment where i go to sleep and once im sleeping im pushing the moment where i wake up so it create a weird situation where each day i wake up later so i also go to sleep later and it just go on and on and on. xD and sometime i got something to do so i break the cycle and it start over from a new point.
24h is just not enough for me lol, why cant we have 36 hours a day instead? Then i would have no problem. xD
Also an other funny thing is nothing is waking me up unless i have at least 5 hours of sleep its like my minimum to be able to wake up normally, less than that i need an other person to wake me up because no amount of alarm will work, my family hate me (especially my brother who is in the room next to mine), because I usually have twenty alarm ready to wake me up. x) They know very well the song "Rigthfully" from Goblin Slayer now i guess since its the one waking me up five time in a row most of the time lol.
We always appreciate the offer :). The need may vary, but if you would like to offer an hand in anything specific, like the backgrounds for example, that would be a very helpful hand :D.
As you’ve mentioned the backgrounds in specific, do you have an idea in mind, or some edit you would like to do to them generally speaking?
I just noticed there was some comments and discussion with the use of AI and also adapting those with original artworks (definitely a time saver) to make the new backgrounds.
My take as it were ( not just for backgrounds (just used It as an example)) would be to add some texture (inside cabin is the better background art in my opinion)
Like the sewer for example to give the rocks more texture, cracking , moss/growths to the sides , darker interior/ brighter highlights to show light isn't exactly prevent inside there, possibly not as a whole new background piece but something that can be like overlayed given a trigger such as 0 lust/lewd makes it dark, dreery mossy, not a nice place to be, 1<3 gives it a bit more light , less of a scary place to be and as the lewd/ero rises it's more of a appealing place to be as the main heroine would want to be there so she sees it's a nicer place.
But I would say a more texture generally would be a plus, some random pieces that dont belong like dead trees, a pipe here and there , or some crashed out plane parts in the forest would add some essence to the world , barring all of that , whack a noise filter on , maybe a high pass , add some Gaussian blurr and job done 👍🏻
Just a failed art students opinion
Currently not sure. Progress these past weeks has been slow so it has been difficult to keep the ideal schedule.
The new H scenes have not yet been implemented, but the background work is about 50% done I think. Other miscellaneous features are partially done (like the quick save/load feature), however there are a few items missing yet, scenes aside.
