I like the idea, and it feels like you put a lot of work into it. I do feel the start was a bit confusing and the lack of feedback made the game not feel very exciting.

thank you for your feedback! i was planning to add a little tuotrial but sadly didn't have enough time, about the design of it, my friend drew most of the assets, we did have some disagreements, that's why it looks sorta janky

Nice, I love tower defense games. And it fits in really well with the game jam. The towers could have descriptions so you can know what they do before buying.

Cool game! I'm a sucker for a solid tower defense and this one really scratched that itch nicely. Upgrading the towers had a really nice payoff. I wasn't sure what towers did what, so maybe a little description beneath each one in the shop might help with that!
