I'm not gonna have my submission ready in time. This has been slow going, my game has fought me every step of the way, and while I've dealt with and overcome a ton of bugs, I've now hit a major bug that I have no idea how to fix, and even if I do fix it, my game is still only like halfway done. I think I've gotta throw in the towel. I'm exhausted, and while I'm far from burnt out on game dev, I'm really tired of working on this game in particular lol.

But this was my first jam, and I learned a lot and gained a lot of confidence in working with Game Maker, so this has been great. I'm gonna spend this year continuing to work with this and make stuff, and next year I'm coming back and giving it another shot! Really looking forward to the streams and seeing what all you guys have made! Great work to all of you, and even to those of you like me who won't finish this time, you've worked so hard and I guarantee you've learned so much, as I have. This is hard work, and you all should be proud of yourselves and what you've made!

Sad you don't make it till the end :c Maybe upload it even if it is only half playable...

Same. I had to cut a lot of content for the game to be playable on submission, I underestimated the 10 day mark and only actually made progress the last 6 lol

Still a very valuable experience, I'm excited to see what everyone worked on!

:( DW you'll come strong next time :D

You tried, thats the point. You'll get there. The first six jams I joined my team didnt even finish or submit. It takes time to get in the mode.

Same.. I allocated my time so wrong. I got other jams tho so I can still come back

Maybe later, if you ever come back to working on your project, I'd love to see what you wanted to make. Always here to support ambitious people, but you gotta get experience somehow.

You should submit it anyway! Even if it's half done and buggy lol. I'm glad you learned a lot. Ya can't improve without failure so don't sweat it.
Great job for participating with your fellow nerds <3
