How does your game incorporate the theme?
In Graveyard Party, you collect batteries to bring power back to the graveyard for a Halloween party. No power means no music, no lights, no fun. It’s a lighthearted take on the theme by powering up the undead for their annual party

Did you use any sort of AI during the development of your submission?

Yes

Loved the intro!

Great use of the assets. Dialogues felt great and funny!

Intro was great. Movement was smooth. The Skeletons in the pack are always a hit!

I can’t look around here :( The camera seems stuck to the ground for some reason Seems like a fun game! The initial cutscene and voice-over was nice.

oh no! I was seeing that during my last test and made sure to capture the JavaScript input event on the first screen, but it seems a bit flaky. Thank you for taking a look :)

Managed to play normally on Chrome though! I think it was a firefox issue maybe? I think it’s because on chrome it went to full-screen automatically. I guess the feedback I have to give is that the biggest strengths your game have are, for me:

  • Banger music
  • Funny
  • Short

I think finding the batteries could’ve been a bit easier, perhaps if the map was bit smaller, but more densely packed with interesting stuff? The jump button wasn’t too useful for example. Although I know we all had to use existing assets so maybe that limits things a bit. Also, the introduction is a bit weird, we get the voice-over explaining things, but it gets re-explained by the characters in game, and the timer only really start once we talk to the boss right?

Thank you for playing and your feedback!! :)

Yes, the timer only begins after talking to the boss
