Very well done! The gameplay was very intuitive and immediately obvious. Just took me a while I need a helmet if I'm craving pomegranate seeds. Wonderful graphics, sound and music. Controls were so fluid and the hitboxes felt perfect. It was very satisfying being able to slither so smoothly between obstacles
Really great game loved the art and the gameplay specially the shield that the worm put on his head also the death gui is simple yet effective and easy to understand also the sound effects sound silly and funny which adds more to the gameplay well done, if you have time you can check out my game too.
For a first jam game it is incredibly polished and fun. I don't have anything to really comment on other than it would be nice to have some sort of visual feedback of the score/energy. Maybe make the bars bigger. A leaderboard could be good. But I can see this as a solid mobile game as is.
Really nice short game with great art style. It has definitely the potential to become an addictive mobile game :D
Well done!
Hey, the game was very fun and polished. I feel like you could've made it so the worm moves towards the direction of where u clicked and where the worm is (instead of just doing left side of entire screen is left and right side of entire screen is right). The meter at the bottom wasn't super obvious but with some trial and error, I started understanding what to do. Great work!
Yeah! Being totally honest, the clicking is there cause those are just the same buttons for the mobile version, using touchscreen, and I didn’t think to take it away for the mouse. It’s much easier to use the keyboard on the computer. But I also really like the idea of a worm that actively follows your mouse, maybe I should implement that in the future…
thanks for playing!!
Very nice polished short game.
Like the player character model, how clean the movement looks.
Enjoyed a quick session!
I made it to the goal somehow lol! Really like the game and was really fun! I like how you just explode when you die lol! Next we need a streetsweeper or something to come round up all the trash laying around here haha!
ACTUALLY FINISHED IT
its a bit challenging. I think i just completed it because of a bug, i took too many hits hehe
but victory is victory
gameplay is simple but entertaining, took a bit to notice the rightmost bar is a progress bar, but now i see it clear. Also, I don't fully understand the mechanic of getting 3 apples. Sometimes they disappear when I eat something else, sometimes they don't.
Art was very cohesive and it was good-loking. Also I appreciate that you thought on mobile platform and gave various options for control.
Good job!
WOOO!
Im glad you did! It was supposed to be challenging, but not TOO hard! And hey, three apples gives you a heal as well as a boost, and you’ve got some invincibility frames after taking damage, so maybe you did complete it legitimately! I’d hope so at least, I tried really hard to squash as many bugs as I could :P
Maybe an indicator for the apples, when gained and lost, would help! You’re supposed to get three in a row, but you can hit a rock without losing your streak.
Thanks for playing!
Amazing artstyle, very vibrant and feels like whoever made the game put a lot of effort into it!
Its a great game, but one of the obstacles looks too much like a fruit
