How did you implement the theme?
The player character is a low quality mimic that copies spells from wizards by using garbage.

How did you add the special object?
An umbrella replaces the shield spell, which is learned in the tutorial encounter, and is used to show when the player has an active shield.

Fun Game! Could definitely use some sounds and music, but I read that you didn’t have enough time to implement. I think a timer to show how long you beat the bosses would be neat. Also, Love the cute graphics.

I got stuck on this level, no matter what I did the healer kept healing themselves. I tried to copy their power but it didn’t work either. So, yeah, Idk if that’s an balancing issue or maybe I’m missing something. Spent a lot of time trying to beat the healer lmao.

Great job on this game jam! and I wish you luck! I also hope you and your team get to add stuff you didn’t get to add, this was a fun game and can be expanded on.

Liked the idea of "mimic" and a tutorial is always pleasant, good job !

I liked the roguelike bent of the idea. Would have loved some more info on the various icons, I couldn't really tell what they meant. The copying mechanic seems fun.

Yeah definitely, conveying information to the player in a clean/consistent/intuitive manner was something that we didn't budget nearly enough time for
