How does your game fit the theme?
the whole game is the tutorial, and the entire purpose is to beat it in order to just get started on the actual game

So it is a 2d platformer with a 3d twist of the character on it , thats interesting , the tutorial is nice and quick , teaching all the mechanics you need to know. There are some nice sound effects involved. The jump of the character seems a little too powerful though. Check out my game if you can ty

Thank you! The project is a 3D file, but the camera has an orthographic perspective and everything is locked to the YX plane. I made most of the assets in blender as really sketchy quick stuff with texture painting, then I used a render texture to pixelate everything and hide the jankyness. for the UI stuff, I had to render it in blender with a low resolution to pixelate it.
Nice entry. Liked the artstyle as well. Especially the animated character and his dash move was fun. From control layout you could have reused the interact button for stuff like hiding and picking up. Well done! And may make a webGL version next time. Usually i dont download games. Did it caused i recognized the tree models. (5,5,4)
Thanks for downloading it, there were a lot of bugs when we tried to upload it with webGL, so we begrudgingly made it an executable. We were trying to make the inputs somewhat frustrating to use on purpose to make the game more rage-inducing, but I think the interact key might have been a strange place to do this.
The artstyle is very cool, I loved the combination of 3d with 2d pixelization. The mechanics are also very cool, feels like an actual game rather than just a jam entry. Great job!
