TikTok / YouTube Shorts Feedback – What Can I Improve?

Hey everyone!

I just put together a short video to showcase TREAD, my solo-developed multiplayer arcade tank game — and I’d love some honest feedback!

📹 Watch the video here!

If you have a minute to watch it, I’d really appreciate your thoughts on:

  • Does the gameplay and concept come through clearly?

  • Is the pacing/editing engaging?

  • Anything confusing or hard to follow?

  • What could I improve for future videos?

Thanks in advance — every bit of feedback helps me improve both the game and how I share it! 🙏

Hey mnursey,

don't want to discourage you, but for me your gameplay trailer is not fun to watch. In the beginning there is some flickerintg in the scene and it it is not fun to watch the tank move ... the videos on your TREAD side are much simpler to follow because you have the full screen... don't know how to handle it... but i feel "A static few" of a tank getting destroyed might be a better alternative... or leave it out together and just jump into the more "advertising part

Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to share your thoughts!

I totally get what you’re saying about the flickering and the tank movement feeling hard to follow early on. I was trying to capture a “moment-to-moment” look at gameplay, but I can see how that might not be the best first impression.

I’ll experiment with cutting the flickery parts and maybe swapping that section with a cleaner, more impactful shot (like a static destruction moment) so the trailer flows better. Really appreciate the honest feedback-it helps me make TREAD’s trailer something people actually enjoy watching!

Hi TheFrog,

If you have a second, do you mind reviewing / giving feedback on my latest Tiktok/ youtube shorts post?

Cheers,

Mitchell
