The idea is cute and very clever. The execution is sometimes buggy, where the clickable controls don't really work, and the game gets stuck.

However, the chomps are not really well implemented, they are not required to land on any box nor to be non-overlapping to count, so spamming Space+G while on the top left corner is a viable speedrunning strategy.

The concept is amazing and funny, the mechanics need some time to get ironed out. Also what happens if the debt is payed after the first week? The game seems to not notice this. Or the grind just never stops for cats?

Love the idea and the nasty sounds the cat makes while eating. Reminded me of our cat even though he never ate cardboard lol

Wishlist/Random improvement ideas as tribute:

- Wish there was no Gecko mechanic, it got in the way without providing something interesting, just a disruptive button mash that got old quick. Would be funny as a one time/boss thing thrown in to spice things up, in that case I,d suggest keeping the button mash to Space too.
- Wish the next boxes was delivered automatically once I ate current one enough.

- Wish the way punching holes work was more immersive. It was too obvious they were being overlayed on top of everything instead of actually punching through the box specifically:
The cat bite indicator should be layered higher than the holes
The background shouldn't get punched through at the same time as the boxes

It's a cute concept that fits the theme well, very fun to play!

(Some small bugs that should be easy to iron out and aren't too much of an issue)

Had lots of fun and may have broken the game a little when I noticed I could eat the background and not wait for boxes to swap. xD

I love cats, gambled all my money away and ate some cardboard boxes, what more can you ask for?? But seriously this was actually pretty fun! 

cute concept! one critique would have liked to change movement to WASD felt disconnected to use arrow keys to move when I was using space, G, and N for other functions. 

Loved the roguelike elements included in this game, it's very fun to play and the concept is cute as hell. As a cat lover, I had a great time playing this.

Ate some boxes, consumed some geckos, gambled all my money at the casino, 10/10. The game was very fun, me spamming space and G so i can eat everything. I even ate the screen with no boxes on it. Very good concept for the theme, and well executed as well. Good job!

Having a cat, I do see addiction to eating cardboard as well, amazing idea to put it into a game, very cool game :D

Gambling addiction is a serious issue, especially in the cat community, it’s pretty harmful to make light of his problems with an awesome little box munching game. I could really feel my life draining away, all for just another spin on the slots machine…
