Such a neat concept, like auto age of empires.
I think the use of the theme was really good how you slowly consume the landscape around you, leaving it barren.
I found it pretty difficult, I realized a few runs in I needed to be smarter about resource management, but sometimes I needed one thing and I just couldn't find it.
Really impressive game for just 9 days. good work.
pretty ambitious for a game jam. easy to play and easy to pick up game play
I found this game pretty enjoyable and good all round. Would like to see it developed further. It could do with a bit more UI on the resources themselves (maybe a wood symbol when the player hovers the mouse over a tree for example). The graphics and audio are good and I like the overall vibe. Nice one!
Could't really get into it , need a tutorial, I kinda understood the concept which seem fun but it was hard to navigate and the camera movement was not working for me
Thanks for the information, we will do better in future projects
This game was very cute, I liked the vibes of it and it was pretty enjoyable to play, I think I share the same criticisms as some people where it can be a bit difficult to tell which resources are which and the UI being a bit in the way. Having it go transparent when hovered was a good idea to combat this though! I think the audio was very vibey and adding to the overall chill aspect but the UI click sounds were a little jarring at first.
Your game was a lot of fun to play!
I really like the idea of getting resources passively to your base. Its pretty hard to familirize with the gameplay and get a sense of whats going on in general but once you do, you see the potential. Overall is pretty fun.
Loved the idea, it's quickly becoming very hard to get the ressources, it's not easy to identify which ressources is which at some point but really fun game and great take on the theme, congrats
Great take on the theme. I liked the concept. The top right UI made it hard to see the resources showing up under it. Having to mouse over to get the transparency was an extra step, and some things could still be hard to see. This was much more noticeable at lower resolutions, and better when I went fullscreen. It would be nice if that piece of the UI was smaller. Possibly an option to be smaller for smaller screens, or even adjust the default transparency level.
Fantastic project, I came in and was blown away by the artstyle, the game was simple but fun, I do think the fail state was a bit hard to keep up with, I think people wouldn’t die out if they ran out of leather for a bit, or maybe they’d just get conquered haha, but the move from ‘oh man I’m running out materials’ to ‘ooh more land to colonize’ was awesome haha. Great job!
