That's a really nice game for a first one. Despite some typos your writing is pretty good (maybe put the name of the characters when they are talking, I get the "" is for Katerine but sometimes I forget ^^' )
You should definetly check out RPG maker engines it would help you a lot in making longer games with interactive narrative and saves you the time of making movement mechanics and a combat system.
They do be a bit expensive for what they offer but there are some cracked versions out there that do the trick ;)

love the atmosphere the weird changing world but I did got stuck on the door after the critter, pressing space didnt work and I couldnt click anywhere
Cool art style, could be zoomed in and the text bubbles a bit bigger.
Cool game, one thing though is that the main character isnt that visible on the black floor
Love the art style and vibe but couldn't figure out how to out run the thing
well, holding shift to run and going to the right, i noticed from my brother playing that he went straight foward first, dunno if this was the issue. And shift to run isnt a toggle, is a hold to run, maybe that? When i tested it in godot it was a tight fit into the door, choice by design, but yeah, maybe i should have made it more fair. Also, thx for playing. Really happy that some people tried it out.
It was a good idea, and could be much better with a bit of polish. also, i noticed that the texture filter was linear, you should set it to nearest for pixel art (i use godot). also, i got stuck at the hospital chase (the enemy was too fast)
oh, were you able to run with shift to the right on the chase? Or did it not let you run maybe? It didnt happen when i was testing, and thx for the filter suggestion, but i honestly have no clue what it is lol, im really new to game making and godot, and my training was just remebering what i had forgotten a year prior to participating in a jam to make this game. But thanks a lot, aprecciate it.
