A solid meta game. Good job on creating a complete game on your first try.
Very solid short game! ✨

your artstyle looks so cool, would love to know how you do the pixelated effect for 2D objects, atleast from what I can tell the hammer and broken pieces of the start button was done like that, I think everyone has express about the hiding cloud section haha, I had to scroll through the comments to figure that out, other than that, puzzle was very clever and music and SFX was great.
As a fellow newbie, great job on finishing your first game! 🎉
Love your videos btw :))
Thanks! The whole game was actually made and rendered in 192x108 pixels so any physics would abide by the pixelation. It's a style I always wanted to try and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Whoa you here?? The game was really cool and fun to play! But where are the axolotls...
Brainless. made a game! What?
😭😭😭
I really liked the idea and your presentation, it fits well, and it is very fun, sadly i couldn't get pass the clouds level but I'ld like to see the ending, also i didn't know you also joined this jam , i love your videos
I really need to change that cloud part, it seems to be the most confusing of the bunch. You're supposed to hide in the clouds until the start button goes under the tree and falls asleep. Also, I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
I didn't think anyone would notice hours thing! Also, thanks for giving it the full playthrough!
I saw your post on youtube that said you made a game for this jam so I decided to come and play it! While I still can't figure out how to get past the part where the play button moves away from the cursor and stays still in the clouds, I love all the puzzles and art, and is just very charming overall! Amazing!
Thanks! I really should've made the cloud part a little easier to understand 😫
Congratulations on your first game jam! I heard discussions from a lot of people about wanting to try something like this, but your game really stands out. The music is good and the SFX are great! The art is also very appealing. My favorite part was shooting the targets with the gun, and dragging the hammer out of the options menu. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to continue once I got to the point where the start button was moving away from my cursor. However, despite that, this was a fun experience and very well executed!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the SFX, I made them myself! I also did the rest but am not the happiest with the music since I made it in crunch time. As for that level, it has to do with the clouds that roll in after a bit of trying! If you loved the gun part, I think you would really like the ending, so if you ever give it another shot, let me know!
I noticed that the button would stop when it was in the clouds, but it still wouldn't let me click on it which is what I assumed I had to do. Maybe I just need to get better at using my brain 🤣
Amazing game! I like the style of it. A bug/issue I found that was inconsistent was clicking on the colored buttons for the code sometimes randomly registers twice. Not sure what is the cause and I had to replay it and it almost messed up my second run.
Other than the bug, it's a really solid tackle on the theme. Good job!
Thanks for playing! I'll look into that bug, I never noticed it
Whoa! Didn't expect to see you here! Love ya videos!
Game is really interesting and fun. The art is VERY nice! Wonderful job man!
That ending was so cinematic! Loved every second!
Thanks, and glad you enjoy the videos! I recorded the entire creation of this and am thinking of making a video on it.
Do it! I would love a breakdown on the thought process behind the project. It's super creative.
Seen your YT Channel! Creative game idea, well executed gameplay, wish it was longer!
Thank you! I had a couple more ideas but was pressed for time. Glad you enjoyed it though!
